Good location and very nice staff. Pillows and breakfast could be improved.There was a bit of smell in one of the room. Possible smoke from cigarette Pillows are very thin and uncomfortable The staff was very friendly and helpful

great lpace, lovely staff, especially the breakfast lady was fabulous. One thing I'd have liked: some tv channles in english and frnech (not just 2 news ones) but a small detail

not having a bar or restaurant on site for an evening drink but it's under refurbishment and ultimately was not an issue

The room was clean and the bed fresh and comfortable. We traveled with a large dog and they welcomed and accepted our pet without any problems. The location has enough parking and it's free

The hotel is too outdated and doesn't reflect the standard of a four star hotel. Many facilities were not working. There was a huge difference between staff members. Some where really friendly and others were even annoyed to serve you a coffee.

Old run down hotel located far away from main roads. Rooms are very old, A/C doesn’t work. You have to walk 50m to Balme spa facilities, not very convenient.

The parking place is quite small to find space when you turn after 22.00.

advertise a swimming pool, but they don’t have one, so you have to pay 15 euro extra to use it. The shower in the room was smelly. restaurant was closed… not a good stay

The rooms are not soundproofed . When I stayed at the hotel , there was a disco close to the hotel and could not sleep until late night . The soundproof has to be improved . The hotel itself it’s very basic . I couldn’t have the chance to visit the pools and the spa so I cannot evaluate . Anyhow the staff at the concierge has been very nice and the waiters at the breakfast restaurant too . The hotel is in a very isolated area . Must take the car for everything . Close to Ferrari factory though

I booked according to the specifications of a 4 star hotel. This was my experience at Hotel Terme Salvarola.Upon entering room 315, I noticed a musty smell and the room was extremely hot and dark. The room was very dated and needed a refresher. I went to the reception and had them turn on the AC. It was minimum to none.The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner and there are no nearby restaurants so a car is necessary.My husband and I were extremely displeased and disappointed with our stay. We were booked for two nights, but opted to leave a day early and forfeit the second nights stay. Non refundable.

Very pleasant hotel, immersed in a splendid garden, with an adiacent Spa and near the Ancient Therms of Salvarola. Good breakfast, very clean rooms, late night bar service, very interesting nearby area (Maranello, Modena, Reggio Emilia). The surprise was a late night Saturday Italian disco nearby the hotel!

Extra pay for the Spa, which is not an inconvenient, but a lack of information. Any guest would expect a full access to the pool area for no extra pay.

It’s far away from center ..without vehicle can’t move from hotel..very few taxi or buses..no restaurant at present so which make trouble for dinner and lunch..

Bed was very hard, whole hotel had a musty smell, needs redecorating, spa bath covered in lime scale, spa access was a good price but then renting a robe?
