Hotel Stadt Breisach

Nice restaurant with good dinner a la carte. Helpful staff. Great view/location.

Everything else. This hotel has not been renovated for 20-30 years, it’s like a museum. 2* feel despite it being 4* on paper. Breakfast medicore.

The view of the Rhine river from the room was fantastic. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast had a very nice selection and was very good. There is a shuttle from the train station to the hotel once per hour if you do not want to climb the slope to the top of the hill.

Friendly staff, room was clean and has a nice view. Didn't have much time to explore the hotel facilities but I like the layout with half floors and the lobby is nice and spacious.

Room door was a bit too heavy for me, it was tricky to hold the door and push the heavy luggage through it. Also the furniture would need a bit of renovation but everything was functional and clean.

Very clean and very pleasant personnel. Fantastic breakfast. Cosy bar. The rooms were well heated.

Pity it wasn’t possible to have an evening meal one day, as we weren’t half-board guests. Which was confusing as there wasn’t a lot of guests staying in the hotel.

The restaurant was exceptional. The wait staff was attentive. The food was phenomenal! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious! - The hotel location was perfect! I would definitely stay there again!!!

Location and views .

We were a group and they gave us the set menu to choose which was poor so we booked a restaurant in the Village . Then the hotel decided to offer us the à la cart menu. Too late then tried to charge me for dinner saying I had booked Dinner , bed and breakfast which I hadn’t. Poor management decisions staff were more than helpful.

Hotel has a great location overlooking the Rhine on top of a hill in the older part of town - easy to walk down to the area with shops, restaurants etc but much harder to walk back up. If you do walk back up there's a lovely bar overlooking the Rhine about halfway up the hill. Parked directly outside hotel and also has underground parking Our room was huge and had a view of the Rhine. Just across from the hotel is a garden run by volunteers which is full of herbs etc and has great views over the surrounding areas. We had dinner in the restaurant - good menu / reasonably priced. Unfortunately the small bar was closed during our stay so we had a drink after dinner in the lobby. Excellent breakfast and lovely to sit outside afterwards and enjoy the view

Some staff are helpful but some could be more customer focused.

Hotel is in a nice area with great view! The restaurant is quite expensive though for the portions they serve.

We ve been here 3 times, we love the place, the atmosphere, the terrace, the wellness, the friendly staff, the service, everything !

One can tell it is an old hotel, and that it needs a few new things.Like new carpet in the restaurant, or no carpet at all.Or new chairs for the terrace. The fan in our room didn't work.

Awesome location. Beautiful view of the Rhine river from the room we booked. In the heart of the alt-stadt and close to shops and restaurants. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

The location and the working staff.

It was not clean. I found stuff from the previous visitier in my room. The sink didn’t work properly.

The size was of our room was great! The balcony and the outer door in the bathroom were nice. The balcony door needs repair, only 1 hinge was working so it flopped on us! Very hot with no fan or ac was tough to sleep in the summer. Also, suggest a mini fridge!!!! The views were great, people friendly and helpful, breakfast was just so so. I would go back again though, no place is perfect!

two elevators plus stairs to get to our room!

Perfect location above city but very poor services, WiFi extremely slow and not stable. No possiblities to get any drink, even coffee until 14:30...Sinlge room very small and the bathroom from the 80's was too small for the price asked.

Beside the location, everything as the price range do not match the service offered...Will not come back and will not recommend this place.
