- From the moment you are welcomed on the property by the two friendly dogs, you know you are in for a great stay. We booked an escapade gourmande for 2 nights and stayed in the chambre double executive, which is right next to the sauna complex. The room with close access to the sauna was super convenient, and the room was spacious with a good bed. We really enjoyed a drink before dinner with a view towards the old castle of Bouillon. Dinner was amazing, with great cuisine that varies on a daily basis. The breakfast was equally excellent.
- Amazing property. Our room had the best view over the town. Food was excellent. Owners looked after us very well
- Our room was in the new part of the hotel. The room was very spacious and modern. The bathroom is ample too and has a nice Italian shower and a bath.Breakfast was very good and diversified. We had half board and I can recommend the restaurant. It serves a refined kitchen, not the typical brasserie menu one finds easily. It is served in the authentic villa, where one could film A. Christies's Hercule Poirot.
Cons -
- Nothing really.
- Nothing at all!
- Unfortunately it was off season & did not have access to completely enjoy all amenities

Nothing really.
Charming hotel, friendly staff, good food.
A beautiful hotel with welcoming staff and a lovely friendly dog!The room was superb, the bed was huge and comfy.I didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast buffet was at right, with plenty of options. Perfect to set someone up for a long day exploring!
Nothing at all!
Very nice hotel, beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Dinner was good and the chef was flexible to create a nice meal without meat.
Location near castle & private. Hosts were lovely & accommodating
Unfortunately it was off season & did not have access to completely enjoy all amenities
The location is nice, beautiful small garden with amazing view on the castle
Unfortunately, there is a strong feeling of the economy on everything in this hotel. Especially staff is radically lacking. Everything is done by the owners who are nice people but are not hotel managers.Hotel is not well-managed and really lacks at least a bit of the professional approach and mainstream.Food in the restaurant is good, but it is really slow kitchen and extremely slow service. Mistake was made upon our reservation, there is a bee nest on the balcony, there is a house rule that you have to pay fees if you consume your own alcohol in the hotel, cleaning was not made everyday, quality of breakfast is really poor. Overall it definitely doesn’t worth such investment.
Dinner was very good
The room was very small and outdated
The staff is super helpful and nice. The place is clean and the room we had was nice and spacious.
At arrival, the central heating was off and it was quite cold in the room. I can understand they have to save energy with nowadays prices, but it was a bit too cold for me. A warm bath solved this right away ;-)
Great staff. They have a nice SPA and their restaurant is excellent.
The room could be a bit larger, but nothing worry about.
Friendly staffNice locationBreakfast was decent (although 16EUR extra)
Bed - pillows are too small and cause neck/back painblanket too short ... barely coveredFrames and other furniture were a bit dustyOnly 2 options for dinner - no vegetarian option
The hotel’s location is absolutely amazing, surrounded by breathtaking beauty. I only wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer.
Late breakfast even if we came at starting ho.
Great hotel, very charming. The annex is very nice.
Noise travelled a bit from other rooms.
