Pros +
- Great location, walking distance from the train station, stores and restaurants. Having the Boulangerie-Pâtisserie and restaurant downstairs were definitely a plus, so breakfast and other meals were easy to get.
- Rooms were fine. Pillows good. The owners responded right away when the TV in one of the two rooms we reserved didn’t work.
- Easy to park and check in . Clean rooms
Cons -
- 1-The power went out in our room, and maybe the owners were unavailable, but we never heard back from the owners and the power wasn’t one even when we checked out the next day.2- The waitress at the restaurant next door said we couldn’t stay on the terrasse (which we thought was part of the hotel according to their hotel’s website and pictures). She didn’t even ask us if we wanted to eat something- which we would have done, but when she said “the hotel and this restaurant/bar is separate, we need to leave”, we just left and ate elsewhere. If this is the restaurant the website refers to, it needs to let people know at time of reserving the rooms that the restaurant is on their scheduled closing weeks. There is only a pita place and a backerei in town. Other restaurant by bahnhof was also closed.
- Parking was very dark
- Little problem with the door code but the man from the restaurant solved this problem very fast.

The staff in the restaruant are very kind. The man from the restaurant was so helpful, and the waitress girls were kind, and they smiled a lot:) I like the happy people. The room was clean. It was ok. Good value for this price.

Completely effortless! No-staff hotel but leave a tip for the maid, I forgot.... Clearly defined room access. Everything as promised. Maid cleaned our apartment even during my 2 night stay!
Fine room. Prefect for a stop over.
Minor things need to be fixed. Like terrace tiles and details indoors. Room is perfect.
Easy self check in, good location for the Ardennes, comfortable rooms. Small town with enough facilities to cater for most needs.
AVAIABLE SHORT NOTICE , CLEAN , EASY SELF CHECKIN, NOT TO FAR FROM BARS AND SHOPS, I WOULD STOP HERE AGAIN
Everything worked. Quiet spot. Parking was easy and off the street. Only use rear entrance from parking area. Coded entry then keyed apartment with ensuite
Really nice, modern room, well thought out with a great restaurant below which we eat in twice. Staff were super friendly and even though there was a language barrier, they were very helpful.
Carpark was open and felt insecure.
Hassle free check-in and check-out, clear instructions received upfront. You have all the basics in the room or in the common areas (microwave, fridge). The beds are very comfortable and room was clean and bright.
It was a very short stay, so not much to observe. Maybe the check-in starting hour is a bit late at 4 PM (we were granted an hour sooner, but was the best to get).
It was easy to reach and had a nice restaurant.
The lake was empty
it’s very modern and in exceptional condition, the bed was extremely comfortable and the location was very quiet with a lovely park and small lake at the rear, it was self check in too which was unusual but in a good way.
Very poor
There was no personnel at the hotel and no breakfast options. This is not clearly communicated on the website of booking. There was a bad smell in the room.I do not recommend this hotel. Poor value for money
A no frills base for using the excellent transport links and exploring the Ardennes.
Dog friendly, with easy access to a big park.
Lots of stairs
Clean modern accommodation. Comfortable. Helpful text communication with the owner when needed.
The digital entry needed careful skills.
Super clean! Everything in good condition and functional.I like the ideea of no reception.Prompt answer at the phone, i had problems with the entrance code. She helped me in matter of minutes.
All info should be posted in a final e-mail, nice and clear. Better in e-mail than a private message in booking.com app/site.
Nice view of playground and pond. Parking behind the building was available.
We had reserved a room with a queen size bed and saw this confirmed in our reservation. Our room however had twin beds. There was no lobby or receptionist so we had to contact the owner by phone (she was on vacation elsewhere). She insisted that we had reserved twin beds and not a queen size. When we sent her a copy of the room description in our confirmation, she said that Booking .Com had messed up. After this phone call, she sent us two WhatsApps in which she tried to convince us that 2 twin beds, 80 by 200 cm, are the same as a queen size of 160 by 200 cm. I told her that we understood the math but there is a difference between sleeping in 2 twin beds with a crack in the middle, and sleeping on a queen size mattress. Instead of reacting to our complaint in a positive manner and offering to help us, she repeatedly denied it was not a queen or that she was responsible for Booking.Com's error. She offered no partial refund or different room; not even an apology. She grudgingly said we could have one glass of wine . Needless to say, we did not take her up on this offer. Disappointing reaction for somebody who runs a hotel.
Clean, new and tastefully furnished. No staff, entrance with code provided.
Noise from other room, soundproofing could be better.
