    • This is a great hotel in a terrific location. Parking is very convenient. Staff were so kind and helpful. The Italian restaurant on the rooftop was excellent. Beautiful views from our room. We loved staying here.

    • Location,

    Cons -

    • Small rooms, much noise from outside construction workers, from 800 at the morning to 1800 after noon, can’t enjoying from slipping at the room.
    • Once I got there I saw it advertised they had rooms on tues, wed, thurs rooms for 99 Euro. - so that was kind of a bummer. I had already paid through booking.com about 279 dollars. Its one of those places where the people run for all the lounge chairs and save them for the day-not a fan of that either. Spa services were booked up upon arrival
    • There is no room service , i called to ask for a battle of water and the guy that answer told me to go get it my self , no one to help you with the luggage. The staff who did the checking was very unpleasant,

Great Breakfast. I went to relax and not leave hotel. I paid a lot for 1 night but wanted to try the place. I am in my 60's and there were lots people around for a Sunday thru Monday. I was thankful for the parking but, You have to go get a parking pass to use the parking - so before check in I couldn't park yet. It looks like they are building a 3rd pool on ground level. The indoor pool was very nice. You can't beat the location on the Rhine. My room overlooked loading and offloading of the ferry across Rhine River.

Its a boutique hotel on the Rhine river, with an amezing view . the restaurant is very good and the service we got there was the best you can ask for. the sauna is great . Location is very convenient close to the Promenade. The free parking next to the entrance is very convenient.

There is no room service , i called to ask for a battle of water and the guy that answer told me to go get it my self , no one to help you with the luggage. The staff who did the checking was very unpleasant,

Everything, from the room, to the spa to the food. All was amazing and totally recommended!

We were on a cycling tour of the River Rhine undecided to stay for 2 nights for some pampering and relaxation.Location was lovely with a day trip to Rudesheim very accessible, and the cable car over the Rhine fabulous.Breakfast was very good and spa facilities excellent.

We thought it was on the expensive side of our budget, otherwise it was a real treat.

Wonderful experience at Papa Rhein Hotel; everything was perfect from check-in to check out. Breakfast was delightful. We enjoyed two superb dinners at the restaurant (reservations recommended); they offer daily menus so you can have a different culinary experience every night. Didn't use the SPA, but it was certainly beautiful. The hotel is very new, spacious and the nautical decoration is gorgeous. The ferry is just steps away. Walking distance to Bingen.

Pool areas, nice staff, close to ferry across river,

Dinner to high price compared to what you get.

Incredible setting, amazing views, modern yet homely deco. A real slice of heaven if you can get there.

If there was anything to complain about it would probably be the building works next door, but totally understood as part of their improvements.

everything was perfect, breakfast, pool, spa, food,......

train noise, a great part of the night

A very new and beautiful hotel with many surprising corner for shots. Very instagramable . And it’s has a very relaxing view which makes your stay very enjoying and relaxed. Too bad was in a rush for other places so didn’t manage to see all the facilities . Definitely will be back again . So in love with it .

One of the greatest locations on the Rhine (from Cologne to Mainz), beautiful, with a great river walk to the "Stadt am Strom" museum, very well presented and a must if you are a fan of Hildegard von Bingen - there is a nice Hildegard garden next to it. Very quiet for a Rhine location: you don't hear the motorways or fast roads, nor the trains. And you are next to the ferry to Rüdesheim, a close walk to the Rhine ship stops. Great breakfast, great indoor pool.

A wellness factory, very impersonal, with "cheap" furniture - except for the beds. Absolutely closed-off, without indications, maps or brochures on the surroundings. In a 4 day stay we couldn't book the restaurants a single time; I have never seen a hotel which doesn't privilege residents!Robotic information only through scanned codes, it took us 3 days to locate the fitneess room (which apparently had been moved into the sauna area - again no map whatsoever - even personnel were not informed!) and the room was heated like the rest of the sauna! No courtesy tea or coffee in the room - with restaurants closed at 6pm (would you believe it). Luckily, there was the Zollamt restaurant on a close walking distance, with excellent food and service!

Exceptional in all areas. Love the amenities that accompany your stay to include full access to the spa the day of your checkout. We enjoyed a lovely walk, rested in the lounge area and were refreshed for our return home. Perfect wellness destination.

A clean and charming hotel. Lot’s of space and great view from the balcony and the top terrace. Spa was clean and again, very spacy and comfortable.

Not much hospitality from staff. The cleaners were the most friendly. For a hotel this expensive, one would expect a warmer welcome and service from staff. Breakfast spread was great with so many choices, but over-cooked and dried up sausages, bacon etc. I suppose some dish were prepared the night before. Lido deck might be considered a casual pool side bar, but I was shocked with the Tuna pasta, with cans of Tuna. I’m not surprised with the use of canned Tuna, but so much of it just poured on to the spaghetti. And pizza from the freezer… The food just didn’t match the posh environment. The appetizer mix was good. It is obvious that so much effort was put into the decoration and the theme of the hotel. Perhaps the staff needs to gain more experience.

The breakfast was phenomenal, the pool was amazing and restaurants were fabulous.

Beautiful hotel, though 350 euros for a double room was too pricey

Too pricey. Had expected to be able to swim in the outdoor pool but this is actually only 60cm deep.

    Good

Noisy in the morning with some kind of metallic knocking from 7-8 a.m.

It’s a wonderful experience for my wife and me to stay in Papa Rhein. Papa is the closest hotel to the waterfront. Especially, our mini suite has 180 degree and great view to the Rhein. The room is neat with proper size. The breakfast provides high quality foods, fruits and drinks. One of the best things is the ferry is just nearby the hotel. You can go to the opposite bank, the famous wine town Rudesheim, in 10 minutes.

There is no water boiler in the room.
