The rooms are really outdated

Beautiful property. Location was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Close proximity to ferry and town.

The location of the room was excellent and the view was absolutely beautiful. Three of the four nights we were there, we enjoyed entertainment (piano, sax, and harp) which all added to our stay. The pool is fantastic.

The beds we very hard. Understanding that the building is of an older vintage, the overall room size was certainly adequate, however the bathroom is very small and cramped. We found it difficult to comfortably move within the bathroom - even as a single person let alone two at the same time. I don't know what is behind the walls, but there appears to be space between where the closet ends and the wall of the bathroom - at least 2 feet. If that could be added to the bathroom it would make a world of difference. It would have been helpful if at check-in we were told the shutters could be closed. Its very bright when the sun comes up, we only discovered that half-way thru our stay.

The breakfast was exceptional and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Would've been slightly more comfortable to have AC available in the room.

Aremis, Incaela were spectacular! Restaurant & bar were great, breakfast was amazing. Convenience to ferry was wonderful.

It was a bit warm. Our room did not have a insulated curtain to block heat & light penetration.

Breakfast was great, location was great- right next to the ferry. Grounds were very nice. Scenic views of the mountains

The town port closed at 8 pm and there are no taxis that were able to take us from another town to Menaggio. Room size was small

The property is just OK.

This is an old property which needs a refresh. Start with the carpet and upgrade the bathrooms and showers. The staff is friendly but this is a tired property which needs help.

The hotel and setting were magnificent. The staff was beyond exceptional; we were especially impressed by Valentina who was delightful, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! Location was perfection! Breakfast was delicious and the room was presented beautifully!!!

Nice hotel. Great location and food. Great staff. The room itself had a very strong musty oder, which made it hard to breath. It was a booked night and tried to move to different room, but that room also had a very moldy, musty smell. I'm hoping I don't get sick. They could have reimbursed some money. They need to renovate the rooms with updated bedding, etc...

The location and the hotel are amazing. Th restaurant extraordinary. Claudio made our time unforgettable .

The upgraded rooms were great.

The old rooms that aren’t yet updated aren’t great and very old/ musty smell.

Our car was damaged in their parking and they did not care, did nothing

People were great, breakfast great, location great, views great , pool great dining and bar great.

Room wasn’t great, bath was very small with little storage, air didn’t work well, not much storage for clothes(lived out of our suitcases) and just generally not impressive for the price.

The location was excellent - right next to the ferry terminal and a short walk into town. The pool and grounds were beautiful.

The room was a little dated. Lake view was just a window.

Disappointing considering the price

AC in room did not work. Staff came to check on it and then said they were going to the lobby. They never came back. I went back to the lobby and staff did not want to do anything about it right away. Had to insist on changing rooms but did not get any help from the staff moving suitcases.

The view, staff and bartenders are amazing! Location in town is great. A short ferry walk and you can go anywhere on the lakeThe town is straight out of a fairytale

Location, friendly staff - especially Artimus, very good selection of breakfast items to choose from. Pleasant bar area.

The small bathroom with very small shower and terrible lighting. They also had a problem with the hot water going out- I had to take a VERY unpleasant COLD shower. No apologies offered.
