Obviously at low season, however, the staff was present and gave excellent service and information.

Nice location, plenty of free parking space, coffee served round the clock at reception, pizzeria restaurant just opposite side of road.Hotel staff was very helpful.

Breakfast can have something warm and spicy like omlette or pasta perhaps.

By the road, the Alpine passes moto riding route. Great choice not to sleep in expensive Swissterland. Like the backyard for the moto parking. The morning breakfast service and the lady were great.

The receptionist upon my arrival wanted to send me away to another town although i fully prepaid via Booking. He was stubborn about this. Also, no dinner when you arrive even it is 2145 not 1000.

This was a large hotel, with plenty of parking round the back. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was provided with a reasonable selection.

The hotel and rooms are a little dated, but not too bad. The hotel staff didn't speak English very well, but their younger family member did which made things a little easier.

Parking facilities for a group of 10 bikers, the room I got with fantastic shower place I should say. The staff, taking care of the guests all the time. The breakfast buffet offerings everything one could wish.

A bit noisy in the rooms on the road side. Far away from downtown Chiavenna, but not a big issue, it’s only 1 to 2km depending where one wants to go.

Room size and mattresses were good.

Receptionist was rude and breakfast had very limited options.

Poor breakfast and the boss controlled the food. You cannot have coffee if you do not ask for it, despite there being an automatic machine. The heating did not work in the bathroom

That there was a swimming pool and that furniture given were acceptable. We had a joyful vacation in the hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there in hotel aurora.

There was nothing we disliked in the hotel it was the best expirienced hotel we had ever stayed in before.

None of the staf spoke englishHad to turn in my key when I went to town and had to be in before midnight because they just closed. First thing when unpacking I put my book on the table and a lamp fell apart.Window closures were broken so couldn't open them for fresh air.Electric cover duct-taped to the wall.Boiled eggs at breakfast were definitely not fresh, which is not expensive to actually do.Breakfast only had 1 kind of white bun.

Room too warm, unable to open window because of outside noise, dated furnishings, old fashioned bedding, unhelpful staff on reception.

The facilities were great; fantastic swimming pool, bar and restaurant across the road with shared access.

I would go back to Chiavenna but not this hotel. Our room was something out of the sixties. The air conditioning was turned off already in September so we had to risk mosquitos for fresh air. It took ages to find the toilet flush which was a button on the floor, I have only seen that before in caravans. The pool closes at the end of August, the only reason we booked this hotel in the first place! Difficult to open the doors onto our...balcony.

Thay have a parking for the motorcycles under the roof.

It is writen they speak english, but from english they only know three words: cash or card?! The price is too much for what they give.

The room was big and clean. From the balcony above the garage there was a nice view on the mountains.

We chose this hotel becouse in the description it has an outside swimming pool with a heated water. Actually the swimming pool is in the restaurant at the other side of the street with pretty high traffic not in the hotel, it s not the property of the hotel and you are supposed to pay 10 EUR per person for a sunbed. The water was freezing, no heating.

The pizzeria over the road is v good. Staff were uncomplicated and frankly for the price, you can’t complain! Breakfast actually okay.

So it’s pretty run-down and needs some love. The pool was closed (no explanation).
