Parking, staff, clean

Room was cold despite changing thermostat. No refrigerator in the room. TV channels are a few and super slow to change. TV is super small.

the room was excellent, parking space on property. breakfast was good. the restaurant offers some amazing food.

Pillows need to be a little firmer. not much support.

Dirty, expensive, poor location

Dirty (dirt on desk), no soap in the bathroom (apparently that is “normal” because they are changing system to a pump), parking 18CHF per night, no kettle in the room and herb tea 7 CHF!!!! Poor location and view on the parking lot and the road.

The room was too warm and the cooling system didn’t work great in our room.

Good underground parking, although not immediately obvious that it was there.

The reception is a little obscure, and staff were not always available at both desks when it was busy enough to warrant it.

Overnight stay heading back to UK from Italy, hotel not busy so would have been nice to have a lake view. We had to change room due to TV not working, good restaurant on site and a wide range of breakfast options. Loved the Charlie Chaplin details around the property.

One of the highlights for me was its proximity to the Charlie Chaplin Museum, which made it incredibly convenient for me to visit and explore the life and works of the legendary artist. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of options to cater to all tastes. From freshly baked pastries and a selection of cheeses to a range of hot dishes, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

However, there were a few aspects of my stay that could be improved. Firstly, the shower in my room was missing a door, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the furniture, especially in the bathroom, appeared worn. The marble floor also had noticeable stains, which gave the impression that it was not thoroughly cleaned. Furthermore, the service at the reception was not up to the mark. Upon arrival, the staff member was preoccupied with a phone call and did not acknowledge our presence or make any effort to indicate that we should wait. This initial interaction did not make us feel welcomed.

Value for money with good location for those moving around the region

There is enough space I guess for parking for not charging CHF 18 a day. At least for guest could be cheaper

We liked the town of Vevey and the hotel was clean, and has a nice little patio in the back where you can hear the bells on grazing sheep.

The train route was down for maintenance so it was a 20 minute bus ride to and from the hotel.

The parking of this hotel is perfect and there are spaces.

The staff who works in the restaurant during breakfast is not friendly. She asked us to leave the restaurant immediately when the time comes 10 AM.The air conditioner was not working, and we stayed one night without it.

Location was a short driver from centre of Vevey where parking was easy. Room was nice. Great dinner in the restaurant

The Charlie Chaplin themed hotel was disappointing. The purpose built TV in the lounge to show continuous Charlie Chaplin moves was a major reason why we decided to visit this hotel again. Unfortunately, it appeared that the purpose built TB had been ripped out of the wall leaving damage to the wall. When I asked the staff what had happened they were unable to explain why the TV had been ripped out of the wall.

I liked the hotel, the themes around Charlie Chaplin, the rooms were fantastic, and landscape view from the window, really great. Parking was great too, yet paid. The only thing is the TV did not work and we were not informed at the point of check in. Also, the hotel was very helpful how to reach the Jazz Festival and provided free passes for the train.

Good location

We had to switch rooms as the TV wasn’t working. The AC didn’t work and the room was very, very warm. The front desk provided a fan for our second night but wasn’t optimal. With this hotel migrating to Marriott next week they have a lot of work to do to raise the standard. First night we only had one set of towels. As we were leaving on morning of day two, the fire alarm went off so we used the stairs from the 3rd floor. Would avoid this property for awhile until they can improve the overall service level.
