Hotel Bernerhof Grindelwald

The service was really great! Hotel employee was super helpful and incredibly friendly.

The bed was two mattresses put together, which caused gapping while we were sleeping. Otherwise, no complaints.

It was in close proximity to the train station and the views were amazing.

The breakfast options seemed limited and the room keep was challenging to carry around with the key fob.

We loved the small, quaint atmosphere and convenient location. We had a private entrance to our 2 rooms which worked well for our family. The breakfast was good also.

The location is the best close to train station and bus station. Break fast was ok.

Very clean room with nice bedding, best location just next to the train station, spectacular mountain view through the window, and great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location to everything in Grindelwald. Located directly across the street from the train station, immediate access to the bus service and the Coop was next door. Couldn’t ask for more. When we notified the staff we would be. He king out before breakfast, they provided a to go meal for every person in our group.

We had a wonderful time staying with Hotel Bernerhof Grindelwald. It was a pleasant stay, conveniently located near the train station, shops, FirstBahn and other things. Breakfast is by the reception area, with balcony, overlooking the Grindelwald train station and magnificent mountain view.

This was a great location, central to everything, which we loved. Additionally, we had a balcony view that looked out over the Swiss Mtns, which was incredible. Great little breakfast area in the morning, with great services from the waiters. Overall, very pleased that we stayed here.

The room was a tad bit on the small side, but the location and everything else made up for that. When we got there, we didn't notice the small elevator that was available, so ended up using the stairs, which was a bit difficult. Not a huge issue though.

Room and lobby are roomy. Decor is dated though!

The staff was awesome. The view from our balcony was fantastic looking at the Eiger mountain. It was the town center but not like any city in US. People shuffling around and very light traffic noise. Very relaxing on our balcony. Easy access to everything from restaurants to shopping and of course the trains. Highly recommend this hotel.

There are 2 thing that comes to mind. First it would be nice to have a place, table or stand, to charge up phones, tablets and other powered items. We laid ours over a coffee pot because of the power outlet locations and lack of room on the desk. Secondly, I prefer to sleep with 2 pillows to raise up my head. There is only 1 pillow each. My fault for not asking but just an opinion that another pillow would be more comfortable.

Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Excellent location away from noise of late night restaurants and bars and close to train.
