The Hotel de la Paix is situated in a quiet, residential part of Interlaken, a 3-minute walk from the shopping center and the Interlaken West train station. It offers free parking on site. Our emphasis is on personal attention, and we will be pleased to help you plan your next excursion. All international and airport trains stop at the Interlaken West station.

Pros +

The nicest hostess that you can wish for, very attentive and ready to help. When she find out that we have to check out early in the morning, she prepared for us a very nice and tasty breakfast, you could tell it was made with a lot of care. Thank you.
The lady at the reception was very nice and extremely helpful! I liked that I could do laundry (for a charge). Good breakfast!
Good location from Interlaken center. Breakfast is okay.

Cons -

I think some updates are necessary, such as carpeting. I do believe that due to the Covid-19Â¿s impact on the economy they are behind like so many other hotels. Knowing the hostess who are running the hotel the issues will be fixed.
The room could have been more clean. There were lots of body hairs around (on the floor, toilet and shower). Sheets and towels are clean.
Rooms are in a serious need of a renovation. Rooms are outdated and the carpet is really disgusting. Need to improve the cleanliness. Bathroom needs renovation as well.

Good location from Interlaken center. Breakfast is okay.
