Hotel Rebstock Meiringen

It's a very neat and tidy place right in the center only a few minutes walk from the station. The Service was fantastic and super friendly. I found the beds very comfortable and the for the price it was extremely good value.

I think it would be great to have a kettle/coffee making facility in the room.

Shower needs remodel. And is under new management and updating the hotel. We stayed in the older section.

Convenient location. Staff knowledgeable about local attractions, gave us insight and suggestions. Room was comfortable, water pressure was very strong in showers. Lots of parking available on site

Nothing, everything was great

Beautiful location in little alpine town. Very clean, comfortable furnishings, nice hot shower, authentically Swiss. We took the local chairlift up the nearby mountain and watched paragliders launching from the top.

No restaurants in town. We visited as hikers without a car, and planned ahead to bring a picnic dinner, but the location is best suited for visitors with a car (there is a bus, but it would not have worked for dinner). In fact they tried to charge us for parking, forgetting that we came by foot!We booked very last-minute and were happy to have somewhere to stay, but we had a 4th floor room that seemed to be partially-finished. The elevator only went to the 3rd floor. Bathroom had no towel racks installed, and the flooring seemed temporary.

The room was neat and clean, property is in center of downtown everything is accessible on just minutes or two walk.Host was good and polite, we got the room upgrade as well without any charges.

The drain for the sink in the room leaked on the floor. The price was high for the very simple and austere accommodations and with a shared bath.

Hotel.in general was great, reception was super friendly. Rooms were as expected. Very central and convenient location. Rooms were clean, towels provided.

The common bathrooms and showers were not so clean all the time (cant fault the hotel.for bad behavior of other guests). One shower became clogged and ran out of hot water. The other was fine. Breakfast was served late unfortunately, I understand from management that this is rare.

Location.

It was very warm in the room. I could not open the windows very far, to get air, because the curtain rod blocks the windows from opening. The walls are very thin.....I was listening to and audiobook, and the neighbor banged on the walls and my door asking me to turn it down. It was startling! The volume was not that loud.

Comfortable beds in a spacious room. Convenient having a sink in the room and very close toilet and shower which were also very clean. Concierge was very friendly and helpful giving us a travel/discount card. Check out was easy. Nice having free parking on site as we had a car.

Only slight con is that breakfast isn’t included in the price but considering the price, 15 CHF/person is reasonable.We didn’t mind but the double room is two single beds.

Nothing.Only the good thing is there is special parking for the hotel. I never recommend it to anyone one even for singles.

Very expensive vs. the services that provided. No private bathroom in side the room.No refrigerator in the room.Sharing toilet!!

Price, location

I was looking forward to a small traditional hotel as the name and the architecture implied. Instead I found an unprofessionally run place where the family life of the owners overlapped the expectation of a hotel. Entrance was through the restaurant which although had place settings on every table but was defunct. The adjacent lobby looked like a day care for small children with toys on the floor. Staff/owners were Indian or Pakistani and did not display the professional friendliness expected of a small Swiss hotel. Business was conducted in English. I don’t know if the spoke any German to help guests who do not speak English.

I loved everything about Hotel Rebstock—it is perfect, very clean, quiet, and in a safe area. My room was spacious and comfortable, with big windows to enjoy the beautiful mountain view. The hotel also has fast WiFi and plenty of parking on-site. The location is excellent, only 20 minutes from Interlaken and just a 1–3 minute walk to grocery stores like Migros and Coop.

The hotel was a bit run down, but definitely fine for one night.

The location of the hotel and the service of the Rebstock team is excellent. The Hotel is on the main street within a short walking distance of cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and the railway station. The hotel and rooms are well presented with clean, well-sized with good amenities (good size bathroom, multichannel English TV, tea and coffee-making facilities). We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Communication with the management team was excellent. Thank you very much for returning the sunglasses that we forgot! If we returned to Meiringen (which we'd like to), we'd stay again.

There was nothing that we didnt like. We would have liked the stay more if there was a buffet breakfast service and if the rooms had aircon (we stayed on some very hot days with temperatures in the 30oCs!

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff who were both kind and helpful. We were traveling as a trio on a bike trip through Switzerland and the staff at the hotel went out of their way to make sure we had a good trip. We are thankful for the accommodations and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Would stay here again.

The hotel is recently changed management. The new owner was personally present at the property and made our stay comfortable.

The hotel was centrally located. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Ali our host was fabulous. He was friendly and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see.

I liked the free parking option.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The room was okay, but there weren't any power sockets in the bathroom. The staff was very loud in the morning which woke us up.

Breakfast was not on offer the day we stayed and the next morning. We were told it would there later on

Property under new management, so the transition is showing. Rooms need more lighting, plugs, may be a water heating kettle or things like that. Extension cords too, as only 1 plug per room

Location of the hotel was near the train station and meiringen is a such a secnic place

I wish the rooms were cleaned before our arrival because of that we had to wait for 30 minutes
