It is a nice hotel/restaurant in a lovely location. It was incredibly hot, we all had fans in the rooms but no air conditioning. The bathrooms need a revamp but it was all very nice and friendly.
Lake view and proximity to lake
Shower could be more powerful. Had to pay for parking.

Good location, super breakfast. Very dedicated and friendly staff. This gives a personal touch to your stay.
beautiful location on a lake, with a balcony. It was a lovely room.
it was very expensive for what it is, but I suppose this is Switzerland.
Nice View, Nice Breakfast, great Location Comfortable Room
Location at the edge of the lake is beautiful. Breakfast was included and fulfilled expectations. The shower in the room was good.
The room was small on the street side and surprisingly hot. The bed was not very comfortable (bouncy springs). The power sockets were few and not conveniently placed.
Quiet location right next to the lake. We had a great view onto the lake and the hill and overlooking old town. Our room had a wraparound balcony, which was very nice. Our dog was welcomed to the hotel and allowed into the hotel restaurant/breakfast room (we did pay 15CHF/day for her). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They held onto our bags after checkout since our trains was not for a couple more hours.
The breakfast selection was rather small, but still offered enough.
Friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out, Room with lake view, calm
Location and lovely staff who arranged my late check in
Great location, fabulous breakfast, awesome view from room, easy walk from train station
Great location on lake with large parks around it. Close walk up the hill to the historic city. Great breakfast as well. Rooms vary in size, but that is to be expected in Switzerland with renovated old buildings. Super gelato shop right across street - what's not to like?
It was a short stay in the old town of Murten and it worked really well - the rooms where old but still good standard and especially very good value for money at a perfect location
Leave the WiFi information in the room
Great location, lovely staff, large comfortable rooms, good wifi, great choice for breakfast
Amazing idyllic location on the peaceful and quiet lake, very friendly staff.
The walls were very thin and in the evenings I could hear my neighbors talking. WiFi wasn't working the first evening. Would like a few more electric plugs to charge devices ... also no elevator AFAIK.
The hotel is cozy and warm. It is an older hotel (see my negative comments) but not old-fashioned. The location is stunning overlooking the lake, and it's right at the old town/historic centre that is anyhow "a must" to visit. The bed was very comfortable and also the pillows just right for us. We had the most amazing dinner in the restaurant - it was a bit pricey, but in the end, we can honestly say we felt it was completely worth it... absolutely delicious - and very attentive staff.
As I wrote, the hotel is older: The walls are very thin, as is the room door - which means you hear every cough and clearing of a throat from neighbours, and you hear people walking down the passage in the wee hours. Also when our neighbours opened the taps in their bathroom, the pipes made a knocking sound in our bedroom. Our one complaint, and we did inform the reception, was the heating in our bathroom was stuck to full-hot. We couldn't change it at all. It was like a sauna in there and we had to keep the door closed as it heated up the whole bedroom. The hotel does not have it's own parking area. There is public parking close by, but you have to pay for this.
