Pros +
- The people were wonderful and kind. Very cute rooms and clean.
- Beautiful location and very peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing for our top floor attic room. Breakfast was wonderful as was the dining experience. Highly recommend.
- The staff, restaurant and location were exceptional!
Cons -
- The price for dinner was ridiculous. A three course meal that would not have satisfied a child. We actually had to go out to find something else to eat as we were given these incredibly small portions that were Ok at best. Being charged $10usd for a carafe of water (tap water) is just gouging the customer. The bill for one three course meal and the water came to $125 usd .We spent about two weeks in Switzerland and I know the place was expensive, but this was over the top for getting so little and charging so much is just ridiculous. I would not recommend eating at this place unless you are a current lottery winner and not very hungry.
- Mattress was a little hard for our liking.
- No lift in the hotel, the breakfast was tasty but lacking vegtables

The room was nice

Where do I begin?? ??The two partners - Connie & Gosia are the most warm, beautiful, charming and generous hostesses. The hotel itself is so special with spacious bedrooms with some having gorgeous lake side views. I highly recommend staying in-house for dinner to enjoy Chef Gosia’s DIVINE 3-course meal. She made a special vegetarian meal for us which is the BEST vegetarian food we’ve had in Switzerland. Chef Gosia also made special arrangements for our breakfast which was all so beautifully presented.Roger who works in the restaurant was so kind and professional as was the lovely young lady who took care of us as breakfast. Thank you so much for the most incredible stay - we will return for a longer stay in the summer ??♥️
N/A - everything was perfect
Breakfast was fabulous. Rooms were fabulous. Staff was fabulous.
We thought that the Aperitif was mandatory. It was very nice but for us not necessary. Dinner was extremely well done, beautiful and tasty but it wasn’t clear to us that we could have chosen how many courses we wanted.
I was upgraded to a deluxe room, and the room was truly nice, with a large bed and a sofa for reading and a free standing bathtub, a shower and a separate toilet. (see photos)
The restaurant is small and super quaint, and serves top notch food, but the prices are totally crazy - which unfortunately is a general feature of switzerland. i was alone and ate a four meal course (aperitivo, soup, primo, mains and desert - with three 10cl glasses of red, some water and an espresso), and was charged the equivalent of US$182.40. If you do that as a family of 4 (which we normally are), you'd clock in at well over US$625 just for food and drinks (and no alcohol for the kids).
Lovely old hotel which has been tastefully renovated. Comfortable room and very good service. Staff very helpful. Good food.
No a la carte menu for dinner and no choice when it comes to dinner. Repeat menu every night. Expensive presenter drinks.
This was such a beautiful surprise. Haven’t enjoyed staying at a hotel in a loooong time. The ladies who run the place are super warm and welcoming. They host all guests for an Apero in the evening (maybe was a Xmas thing, but I loved it a lot) the room is spacious, clean, warm, nicely furnished, has coffee and tea facilities and a minibar. Comfy bed and a couch to lounge on. The dinner at the hotel was spectacular. Very meticulously curated 3 course dinner and the lady chef put all her love and creativity into the dishes. One massive plus: they arranged a welcome corner for my dog with a bed and two bowls.
Nothing. All wonderful
Wonderful room, best bed, nice details in decoration and furnishing and above all wonderful hospitality
That I didn't stay longer :)
Very lovely hotel, well located, nice staff, clean environment.
Great location! Wonderful staff, very cute vintage style boutique rooms
House keeping wasn’t too great
Super clean, great location, and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, and the whole experience was fantastic. Would love to come back!
There is just public parking for the car, but a spot can be found
Quirky room, upgraded with a big bath in the center of the room, making for a nice evening even if we arrived late.Port or sherry bottle given complimentary as well. Nice lake views at breakfast.
The staff were lovely, room was beautiful with fabulous views.
Warm welcome from the staff.Attention to detail.Breakfast and dinner.
Maybe a bit pricey. But again great service, nice touch.
Excellent friendly staff and very well run property. Beautiful room. Breakfast lovely.
Views of the lake a bit limited.
The accommodation was very charming, reminiscent of a swiss chalet. Breakfast was delightful. Staff was extremely attentive and kind. We are thankful for the upgrade offered without request. Location is exceptional, close enough to enjoy the city and far enough to experience the lake and country side. Readily accessible to main road.
Super beautiful hotel, the location is amazing (the views!!), the rooms are lovely and spacious and the restaurant (4 course dinner WAUW and also breakfast) is delicious! All staff was super friendly and helpful with our baby. We had the best time!
The hotel staff was super nice and attentive, and very flexible to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were very cozy and the decor was so unique and well thought out. It was an amazing experience!!
