The hotel has great location - on the shore of lake Luzern with spectacular views, central to Beckenried, close to the gondola which takes you to Klewenalp for mountain walks and well connected by bus to other please in the Nidwaldnerhof canton and other destinations.The hotel staff is very helpful, very professional and looks after their guests.

The views are worth the price alone but the breakfast is superior--who doesn't like champagne for breakfast?Easy covered free parking.

Room is a little small but the balcony overlooking the lake was great.

- view from the restaurant and lake-facing hotel rooms - locationl - close to Luzern and at the same time in a nice cozy town, with fantastic nature around - clean room and hotel- option to skip cleaning and get a small reward for that- good breakfast - free parking, accessibility

- noise from the elevator (every 2-4 min it would give a strange loud sound, which one could clearly hear in the room)- lack of privacy on the ground floor (neighbors from the room nextdoor tend to walk almost without clothes, and stare into our room many times). We found that uncomfortable Overall, great hotel and we would definitely repeat the journey, but ground floor room won't be our preference.

We had a really nice stay here. Comfortable room and an excellent onsite restaurant. Beautiful view of the lake. Loved pushing the button and having the exterior shutters lower and close at night. We ate at the restaurant both nights we stayed. What really stood out was the service we received from Gabriela. I don’t normally make note of names, but our experience at the restaurant led to some reflection on how much an excellent, truly professional server can enhance a dining experience. I am so thankful. Back to the hotel… 9 points. One point subtracted due to the bed being kind of sunken in on one side such that my wife and I had to sleep head-to-foot. Other than that, everything was great. It worked out well to stay here and take the boat into Lucerne. The boat dock is a 6-minute walk, and it’s a lovely ride of about an hour or so.

Friendly helpful staff and a beautiful location to stay.The breakfast was fantastic and the service excellent.The restaurant, which is part of the hotel, was very convenient and the quality of food we experienced was very high. I would stay here again given the opportunity.

The distance from lucerne can be an issue due to being off the main transport line. This however can be a turned to a positive thing for the following reasons.Firstly the opportunity to catch the ferry into town or back is a beautiful experience on a sunny day. Secondly the location on the lake is tranquil and has that village feel rather than the busy city feel. It really depends what you want.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views across the lake and to the mountains. Balcony. Easy on site parking. Lovely food for dinner and breakfast. Close to the motorway for easy access but quiet location. Friendly and efficient staff.

Why when you reserve in person for dinner at the hotel where you are staying does it take three people to check your reservation and then for someone to come out with a clipboard to check the reservation again? Not very welcoming One member of the restaurant staff was officious and dismissive of our requests so we cancelled and went to the nearby Rossli hotel which was super welcoming and had friendly staff.

The location, view from rooms on the lake side, the quietness, the closed and safe garage.

Some of the staff was trying to speak French but did not grasp what rude vocabulary they used in doing so.

We arrived after check-in hours and the staff were very nice and helpful. Since we arrived after the restaurant was close, they made us sandwiches a and salads. The room was great also and the views were good.

The view was amazing The staff were beyond nice & tried their best to make us happy & enjoy our stay.Totally worth it. It was our first visit but surely not the last.
