Hotel Engel

The hotel staff went out of their way to guarantee us as much comfort as possible. They even asked us beforehand if we wanted to have breakfast which then was served promptly during our stay. The room was very large and comfortable. I actually slept so well that in the morning, I first thought that I‘m at home.

The warm water could have been a little warmer, but this is complaining on a higher level as I always take extremely hot showers.

No breakfast required.Friendly helpful staff.

Parking very complicated !!!!

The staff is friendly and kind! Very clean property. Updated nicely. The lady the checked is in was sweet! Pasquale assisted us with late night with our requests, he was very kind and personable.

Room was quite warm , but the fan helped.

Central, clean and well organised.

Very quiet room, well located in the center of Zofingen. Firendly staff, online check in removing the hassle of checkin paper work. Clean.

The room and bed were smaller (single room) than what I had booked on bookings (studio room with double bed)

Hotel Engel is located in the middle of the old town. Even though it's in the city center you can't hear the street noise. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The lady at the reception is really attentive and kind.

The cleaning service is excellent, the only thing that could be improved is if they could keep it less noisy early in the morning

very comfortable hotel, ideal location near the motorway Basel-Chiasso, great breakfast, located in the middle of Zofingen, paid parking places nearby, numerous restaurants nearby

Great locationSpotlessly cleanClose to parking facilities

No staff to check you in or assist after 8pm weekdays. We arrived late due to traffic delays en route and we’re given self check in instructions. While efficient, this is impersonal and not particularly welcoming for a hotel of this standard and price. We saw one friendly staff member during our stay who was expected to run the breakfast room and reception same time. We were also told that we had been allocated a room on the third floor with Mountain View but on arrival had been switched to the second floor with a view of the street, with no explanation as to why, and no staff on site available to query the change.

very convenient hotel in the middle of Zofingen, easy access from the highway, good choice of restaurants, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfastthe room was spacious and luxury

I cannot find anything which we didn't like

Lovely large comfortable room and bathroom. Coffee and cold water readily available. Very close to train station

good location in the centre of old town, quiet and peaceful

Beautifully located in the center of town. Friendly staff, clean, great breakfast buffet, nice rooms

There are restaurants and pubs close to the hotel, so it can get a little noisy at night. Not a problem if you keep the windows shut though.

Great location.

It's a little expensive for the size of room but Switzerland tends to be more expensive than other European countries.

Fantastic hotel, staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Great location right in centre of town.

It is a little expensive, but there are lots of little extra touches that add value.

A lovely hotel with helpful welcoming staff. Nice room .

Church Bells nearby ringing incessantly including through the evening, early morning

Good location - three minute walk from train station. Clean. Hotel staff was pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Cold water dispenser on the second floor and free coffee on first floor were nice touches.

No air conditioning but there was a fan in the room. I don’t mind opening windows but there were no screens and we also had some street noise in the evening so I had to use the sound matching app on my phone. Wi-Fi was a little slow. On the last day, they told me I had to pay a balance for the room but I told them it was totally paid thru Booking.com and they resolved the mistake quickly and with no resistance.

Nice place, very clean and quite. good location.I was check in late but it so easy. Love this place?
