Staff was great. Breakfast pretty good.

It was very hot so no air conditioning or fridge was a drawback

We cannot praise this hotel enough. The receptionist was extremely friendly, she waited for us to arrive until nearly 2 am and just as other reviews say, nothing is too much trouble for her or any of the staff! We were provided with a cot bed and allowed late checkout which were much needed and made our stay very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and just made is feel very welcome!

Our only problem was the glass sliding door for the toilet which wasnt very practical with 2 kids ?

No A/C like in the majority of the hotels. However the staff was very helpful and provided a fan: slept beautifully ?

A reasonable location for an overnight stopover. Free safe parking at the rear of the hotel. Friendly hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Excellent breakfast but this is in addition to the cost of the room.

Rheinfelden on the German side of the Rhine is an underwhelming place with very little character and little to recommend it. Hardly anywhere decent to get a good German meal. The Swiss side is prettier but beware of the inflated prices and a reluctance to accept the Euro. WiFi in our room was weak and unreliable.

Staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was nice and clean and hotel was in a good location. Price was reasonable.

Good selection at breakfast but go early because hot food was quite cold at 9.45 and a little pricey

super friendly welcome, owner was extra helpful with storing our bikes securely and getting all our luggage in. He gave us advice on dining options and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was amazing, huge variety and all tasty. The lovely lady serving breakfast could not have been nicer and encouraged us to take extras - we did! The rooms were very comfy and we even got a balcony, not that we had time to sit on it. The hotel is much nicer inside than you expect from the street.

The hotel is on the first floor and up so the entry door doesn’t look nearly as nice as the interior.

Located a very short walk to centre, good parking behind hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Free bottles of water given on leaving. Went to pub next door for a last drink. Enjoyed our stay

Perfectly central, a short walk to the German side pedestrian street and maybe 10 minutes to the Swiss border bridge. Comfy and well-designed rooms, easy 24/7 access with door code, friendly and familiar vibes.

The Hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood and the facility is in excellent condition and extremely clean. The morning breakfast is one of the best we have experienced.

Nice small old style hotel - good sized rooms, with balcony. Staff were very helpful and friendly easy walk to restaurants, cafes and the river.

Advice on parking due to the road works before arriving would have been useful. Otherwise all good.

Hotel Garni Oberrhein offers a good service with a big smile. The garage of the hotel was perfect to store our bicycles as we were on cycle holiday. It is a good pass-by hotel, nothing more, nothing less. The rooms are basic is the typical German style decorated but comfy and clean. The room had also a terrace. The breakfast had a wide choice for every taste bud.

The hotel is overpriced for the basic value it offers and given the location.It is very atypical for a German hotel that the breakfast is not included in the price.
