Hotel Danner

Stayed here many times; go-to place when I travel to the area. Breakfast has many items and the food is great. Hotel is quiet and staff is friendly (especially the young guy at check in). Recommend it.

They need to improve their English language level when dealing with non German spekears, and bed and pillow was to firm(hard)for me otherwise i give 9 out of 10

Excellent location, very friendly staff, large comfortable bed and pillows, very nice bathroom and shower, and excellent breakfast and dining room.

The main restaurant was closed for the season - bummer.

It was in a good location for our trip. There were shops and bars close by. The hotel had a Chinese restaurant, which was buffet style plenty to choose from.They had a car park at the back. The bed was comfortable. There was a fire escape outside the window. The breakfast was good, plenty to choose from.

You couldn’t get a drink when you arrived until the restaurant opened. The shower screen wasn’t clean.

Spent half an hour at 2 a.m. outside when I should have been sleeping in bed

I think the most important thing about a hotel is the ability to get there. Wouldn't you agree? Unfortunately I did not have such an opportunity and I spent half an hour of my precious time outside at 2 a.m., alone, in a city unknown to me, in the cold, crying, to open the front door of the hotel with my card. I knew that I would return to the hotel later, so I asked the reception in advance if I could enter the hotel at night without any problems, I was told yes. But in fact there was a problem with the automatic door. ?

The hotel is very pretty and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of parking. Air conditioning was the best of any hotel we stayed in in Germany and Switzerland.I understand this hotel has been through many owners that failed. I believe this time they will be successful. There is a Chinese buffet on the property.

Been here before, like the location near both countries and near the spa across the river (which I highly recommend). Quality room, very quiet and secure. Breakfast is a large buffet and very good. Didn’t try the advertised dinner buffet so can’t comment on that.
