AC Hotel Alicante

The location was great, close enough to walk to the beach and downtown but far enough away for quiet at night. The rooftop bar/pool was nice too.

We happened to be there during the main festival so finding a taxi to the airport was a challenge

It was clean, quiet, nice.

So far from the rest of the city.

In the morning is a lot of noise because you have a construction next door

Housekeeping.

Way too much noise from the traffic in the front of the hotel. The windows and door need soundproofing. Location somewhat far from the city center. Reception staff was hit or miss. No bathrobes and slippers in the room of a 4-star hotel. We had to ask housekeeping for them. Pillows were uncomfartable. Could not lower/control the heating. This was not the type of Marriott I am used to.

Good quality toiletries. Plenty of free water.

There was a lot of traffic noise , motorbikes, sirens etc even on the seventh floor.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, equipped with a good coffee machine with Nespresso Tabs. Good breakfast.

There was no shade at the pool, the food at the hotel was not great.

Good hotel. Not in the city center but there is a bus station near the hotel (busses 21 and 22 that can take you tot he city center and to the famous beach Sant Juan).We liked the hot tub on the 6th floor. Swimmimg pool is also great, it could be bigger but ok.Clean and nice hotel.

Breakfast was good but we stayed 7 days and breakfast was the same every single day (little boring) Everything else was great!

Nice and clean hotel. The room was big enough. Free coffee and water were provided in the room. It is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. The price–quality balance is quite good. They provided two beach towels, which I really liked. Next time, I won’t bring my own beach towels.

Staff were friendly and attentive were happy to help with all questions. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Pool whilst small was what was needed after a hot day.

Great location, modern building, spacious clean room, 24h check-in, attentive staff willing to help.

The music event is happening just in front of the hotel. I believe it was connected to Hogueras. The soundproofing of the hotel is impressive. Nevertheless, it couldn't beat the beat ?

very clean hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Not my first visit.

Clean, tidy rooms. Staff was a bit grumpy, but not rude. Missed typical continental breakfast items like scrambled or fried eggs but other than that good. What I hates was enjoying the sun in the pool when suddenly bunch of people came and had a photoshoot, without asking if I am fine with being in the background. I was definitely not, as I was in the swimsuit and not looking for some strangers taking photos. Staff was useless as they just replied couple of hours later with “they have left now”. The worst part - staff just said they were not taking pictures of the guests. Umm. Excuse me, I was there, so I think I know better. So yeah, hotel itself was good but the attitude towards guests wanting to wind down - could be better.

Bad

Hotel personnel is not capable of making a proper invoice. When contacted reception, they didn’t helped at all. I cannot reimburse costs from my employer, because invoice is with wrong data. Nobody wants help in the hotel. They just don’t give a shit.Worst experience with reception ever.

Fair but let down by the breakfast arrangements.

Breakfast was chaotic. Insufficient space in lounge. People had to spread out onto the bar table area.

1. Staff not helping 2. Parking only for motorcycle, with bigger car better don’t try parking 3. Maneger hotel even don’t answer to booking.com 4. Better don’t open windows look like in prison 5.

The position of the hotel was very good.

The gym was very small and the equipment weight equipment was poor.

I didn’t stay because I found pubic hair in the bed

I found pubic hair in bed so didn’t stay and still have not received my refund
