    Pros +

    • It’s a simple but elegant hotel with beautiful views of Palau, the port, the sea, islands, and it’s relatively easy to walk to the downtown port area. There is also a cafe / restaurant just one block down. The manager was very friendly. The shower head, water flow, and warm water were great.
    • good location
    • horrible bad and pillows, one of the worst we had!had to ask for towels as there was none in the room. Had a look at the breakfast buffet and it was not good at all! Way overpriced it’s for what it offers!

    Cons -

    • The liquid soap containers were not checked daily and so the soap levels in the shower and sink soon got low to empty. The gated parking and back is good and feels secure, but the surface is full of medium sized rocks whereas asphalt or concrete would be easier to walk and drive on. Those rocks do get near the rear stairway and could cause someone to step on them and trip. There are two floors, but there is no elevator, so be aware of that.
    • i was annoyed - no kettle in room to make coffee, when i suggested he charge to make one from the breakfast room, no that closes at 10 i suggested he have a table right by his reception to make instant tea/ coffee only - and charge if he wants - too messy he said ...even back packers you can make tea coffee.. - didnt mind paying 10 euro for his coffee but NO
    • we could not attend the breakfast (too late for ur ferry) and hotel was not able to reimburse us, upgrade the room in exchange . not fully fair

The room was nice and clean ,the view stunning , staff very friendly and polite. The location very good near there is a gym for us that was amazing. The city is very small so it is easy to get anywhere you need.

Maybe the price is a little bit to high for this hotel , but if you get the room with view it is worth it .

Beautiful view from front porch. Nice breakfast assortment. Close to town but not in the middle of it.

excellent view. overall the hotel is not worth the money spent

not much light in the room, bead heads are hitting the walls

Beautiful view of the sea and La Maddelena. A 5 minute walk to a bar if you want a Cappuccio and a cornetto. Restaurants close by walking distance.

WiFi very poor - difficult to get connection. Said it was due to the weather .

Beautiful view on balcony. Made up for having to carry heavy suitcases up a spiral staircase. The kind kitchen staff helped me carry my bag on way down.

No kettle in the room. Weird plug socket that doesnt really work when you have an adapter as the light switches get in the way.

    Amazing view from the balcony.

Bath could be renovated. The bed was almost falling apart.

wifi was horrible. Most of the time it did not work in our part of the hotelThis is NOT a 4 star hotel by any meansHad to climb a flight of stair to reach reception (with luggage)...then another 2 flights to reach roomWe paid extra for breakfast which was totally unacceptable...not enough tables set up due to a large group and not enough help for breakfast

A staff was friendly and very nice!! He helped us a lot. Thank you!

I found some long hair on my bed and a big ant ;(

The view was lovely and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was quite small and when the shutters were open it was difficult to access the bed from the window side. Also there are steep steps leading up to the hotel entrance and it was hard carrying our luggage up them.

Amazing location with a wonderful view across Palau and the sea and the Islas di Maddelenas. The room was comfortable enough.

This was a sad, disappointing and faded hotel, that once would have been luxurious and beautifully appointed. There is no longer a car park, so you park on the street outside and carry your cases up the steep steps and then up a wooden internal spiral staircase to the second floor. No lifts. Breakfast was average and staff seemed surly and uninterested in service or help. Room was ok but spartan - air conditioning worked, bed was comfortable and shower worked. Bathroom small with no shelving or place to put toiletries. The curtain rail was broken so hard to pull curtains and no blind on bathroom window which gave out into some apartments, so people entering could see you taking a shower. Tried to partly cover the window with a towel. No point complaining as there was really no-one to complain to. It was overpriced for what we received and had expected much more.

I stayed in the hotel in a top floor room with a balcony. The room was not really big but the balcony was large with an amazing view over the Harbour and the sea. The Harbour is on the distance and we could not hear any noise really. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast on the large terrace. The selection of food was nice and we could choose anything we wanted. I ordered an omelette and it was delivered nicely cooked. After our breakfast we went to the harbour and visited a Sunday market and had a lovely lunch in one of the multiple restaurants located near harbour. It is a very nice hotel and I would recommended anybody to stay there.

Everything was nice in the hotel.

    Good

The person I met at the check-in was not the most helpful. It was heavy rain and they did not offer an umbrella in order to get the luggages from the car. The private parking mentioned it’s very small and in the evening might be hard to find parking on the street at the location. That also makes it hard to actually get your luggages in.
