- The location was fantastic.
- This place is a gem if you want to stay in the old city. The owner is SOOO nice. Absolutely went above an beyond. I would highly recommend this place. Comfortable, small rooms but well worth the extra spend to enjoy two days in this beautiful place!
- This is a super property in an excellent location of Bonifacio up on the hillside old town. It is just a short walk to many wonderful restaurants and sites. The building is charming and traditional and serves a tasty breakfast in the lovely stone walled cafe downstairs. Our high floor room was charming with a view to the cobblestone lane below. The receptionists are helpful and the free parking nearby was very handy.
Cons -
- Nothing. It was a great one night stay and great central spot for adventures.
- Hard to find transportation to get to hotel after getting off ferry.
- Unless you are a French speaker, the staff is a little difficult to communicate with but did not pose any real problems.

Wonderful and warm greeting upon arrival, escorted to room and provided lots of info on the Bonifacio area. We felt very safe. The breakfast was fantastic and bountiful! Such friendly staff.
Nothing. It was a great one night stay and great central spot for adventures.
The owner Jacque was so welcoming! Great historic and charming location although hard to get to. Group of six of us and no taxi service through the very small roads. It's perched high in the city center and getting there was alot harder than going back to ferry. Pack Light!

Rooms were clean but a bit dated. The morning breakfast service was a great value at 11 Euro and quite good. The hotel's location in the heart of the Citdel could not have been better. The fact that the hotel offers a private car park within the citadel for no extra charge make this hotel a great choice for tourists driving to/from Bonifacio.

Hotel was in a perfect location, walking distance to everything Breakfast was delicious in their quaint restaurant
located in the center of town with good bike storage.
very small shower with some mold
The location is very hard to beat. You’re smack dab in the heart of everything. Also…Jacques! The manager/ owner was the most lovely and naturally pleasant and helpful person. He went above and beyond at every turn. He helped us with our bags, helped with dinner reservations all whilst signing and whistling joyfully. He was just wonderful host.
Great location, right downtown of old city. Well renovated older building. Large, quiet and clean room. Great welcoming staff: Jacques was really helpful; carried our luggage to the hotel, gave us all kind of info, etc. Good mattress. Private parking downtown. Little train available to bring passengers from the harbour to old downtown and back (6 euros)
Could use more lighting. No towel rack. Air conditioning capacity a bit weak. Advice on where the private parking is located (and entry code) could be done the day before so the GPS would bring us directly to the area; as the street where the hotel is located is a pedestrian street only,
Lovely central location in the haute ville, made even more perfect by the nearby private, gated parking. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was ample and delicious. The staff was extremely helpful with check in, parking arrangements and local suggestions.
Nothing- it was a perfect introduction to Corsica.
Decent location right in downtown, close to the steps of Aragon.
I thought it would be convenient because there was free parking “nearby”. The parking is about 4 blocks away, fits very few cars and you have to check in first to get the code, to then tote all your bags through the crowds to the hotel. I really don’t understand the 9.1 rating, the staff were not very nice or helpful, the room and hotel was extremely small and cramped with no real view and the parking situation was unclear. You also have to leave your key with staff whenever you leave, so you’re sometimes waiting a few minutes just to get back into your room. Very few amenities, no coffee or extra perks to justify the rating. ?♀️
Beautifully decorated and great location! The staff were really nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!
Location was perfect in centre of the town. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Dining room had such charm.
Not a criticism but a word of advice: get instructions for the parking prior to arrival. Great parking spot atop the town but don’t attempt to drive to the front door of the hotel. They are at separate locations.
Everything. The staff was very welcoming, great location, and parking.
Giacomo and the morning lady (sorry we didn’t get her name!!) were so helpful and friendly! The morning girl went out of her way to help us get a taxi when we had some logistical poor planning, and fixed our first day! Giacomo was easily one of the most joy-filled people we have ever met and tried so hard to communicate with us despite our complete lack of French. Great location, parking was as good as it gets, rooms cute and clean. Only thing was breakfast (€11 each) was probably not worth the cost — some fantastic pastries and juice/coffee, but not much more). I spent a lot of time deciding where to stay in Bonifacio, but this is the answer for sure.
The hotel was in an excellent location, in the haute ville but on a quieter street. Our room was generous and we even had a narrow view of the cliffs. We appreciated the large round table with two comfortable chairs and the view out the windows. The staff were extraordinarily welcoming and cheerful. Mélanie gave us precise directions for the car park as well as helped us make a reservation on the balcony of the hotel’s well-regarded restaurant U Castile for a view of the cliffs.
Located right in the center of town, which was lovely, but challenging with luggage. The staff helped us, which was crucial.
Rooms were small but expected for a historic hotel
The property is centrally located in the old town. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better location. The optional breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, assortment of breads and croissants, and is well worth the €11The staff is friendly and helpful
The man at reception couldn’t have been nicer ! This hotel is close to everything . And it’s Spotless ! Would go back in a heartbeat
