Well laid out

Very poor dinner menu. Very limited choice which is repeated on a daily basis. Very limited knowledge of the English language amongst the staff.

Fabulous Hotel run by badly trained staff only the Barman was acceptable the rest of the people were unfriendly and in some ways arrogant we first visited La Villa in 1996 suffice to say we will not return there is a total lack of acknowledgement that guests are important.Who is the front of house, who is the wine waiter,who is running the front desk, who is in charge of the restaurant we did see a guy from the back office when we paid our 5500Euro bill he took our money without a thank you or hope to see you again, it was the final farewell.

Very comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast. Great location - set back from the town and beach so quiet but still within easy walking distance.

Our room view privacy was compromised by restaurant outlook on it

I fell in love with La Villa as soon as I arrived. The safety, the ambient, the welcome I received from the staff (Claudia, special thanks to you), and then the magnificent spacious suite with the most amazing view ever. The pool area is movie-like. Every single corner boozes elegance. There is even a gallery making the way to breakfast (or dinner) even more enjoyable. The food is exquisite!The spa offered one of the most relaxing treatments I’ve ever had.

There is nothing I did not like, but one improvement may be to better inform guests about the hotel’s private beach, La Plage, several minutes’ drive.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. All of the hotel rooms and facilities are impeccably maintained. 25m pool was a highlight for swimmers.

The gym (although air conditioned) was way too hot to exercise in and the staff were unable to alter the air conditioning.

Completely overpriced. Very poor value for money.They charge you for a baby cot when the room is already above 700 per night. Never seen that before.

The Table by La Villa dinner deserved its Michelin star rating as the food was excellent and had a lovely atmosphere sitting outside with the live music being played in the background.

The hotel was clearly getting ready to close for the winter and even they were still open and we were paying guests, the beach club was closed on the only day we could visit apparently due to bad weather even though every other beach club was open. The facilities at the hotel (pool) were not open and staff were scarce. Definitely not up to Relais & Chateaux standards. Disappointing to say the least.

Location was spectacular. On the hill overlooking Calvi and the staff all spoke great English.

The staff was welcoming and polite, always happy to help and very thoughtful.The hotel location is great and the view is stunning, there is beautiful art everywhere in the hotel which makes it special and even more beautiful.The owner is there and making sure all the guests are happy which gives a special warm feeling.The pool is beautiful and very long which is good for swimming.The room was very clean, well decorated and comfy and with a beautiful view..The spa ayurvedic massage was fantastic.Delicious breakfast.I would love to come back to this hotel.

The pillow of the bed , I would have loved a feather one (it is just a personal taste though). The menu at the pool restaurant could be enhanced with a few light dishes options.

Lovely location above the town, beautiful room, quiet and real luxury

Everything, especially the bed - very comfortable. The room is soundproof, air conditioning works soundlessly, we had a very good rest. The bar and the restaurant is top. Pool is perfect. Many thanks to our hosts for this great stay.

Spa staff needs a bit more training.
