Hotel Neptuno Playa & Spa

The location is beautiful, right by the beach. The staff was amazing--so attentive and very helpful!

It's loud...being near the beach has its tradeoffs (loud music into the wee hours).

The room had an ocean view and windows that open to allow sea breezes in (it also had AC). Large, spacious, super clean room with a very comfortable, firm bed. The breakfasts were amazing: fresh, ripe delicious fruits, creamy yogurts, a selection of salmon, chicken, ham, fresh vegetables (I made a salad for breakfast with egg, olives, salmon, feta cheese, and more). Omelets made to order, pancakes, fresh pastries, and a whole lot more. The fresh fish options for dinner were also delicious — I ate there twice a day most days, they were so good. Staff friendly and helpful.

I wish they could exchange US dollars for euros, but I understand that is beyond a hotel’s job. They did direct me o an easy, close place to get the exchange done. And I found I could use a credit card for mist everything anyway, so I didn’t need much cash.

Location is nice. Plenty of parking outside. Overall my stay was nice clean and quiet.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with any request. The fact that the staff speaks English was extremely helpful. Our room faced the side street but we could see the Marina. There was a music festival during our stay and it was nice to hear the music but it did not deter our sleep! Beds were so comfortable! Coffee and tea in room was a nice touch as well as robe and slippers provided. Great restaurants in walking distance and so easy to take the #95 bus right into the heart of the city! Beach is great and right in front of hotel. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed

Everything was so great. So close to the beach and very nice room. Massay was a bit expensive but worth trying.

There was not a double bed, it was two single beds attached to each other which were separating easily.

The breakfast was really tasty, great sunlight in the morning and helpful and kind staff.

The location was on the beach and there were a dozen restaurants lined up alongside this hotel. They provided beach towels and a great breakfast.

The property is amazing. So many great amenities! Super clean and modern. The breakfast was delicious and the staff is very friendly!

Overall nothing much to complain about, it was an amazing stay. We’ll come again.

Matress was not ok. And the rooms where a bit outdated. For the price requested.However breakfast was great and people where very friendly.

Very clean and comfy rooms, complimentary toiletries provided. Very friendly staff, helpful and accessible 24/7. Location is outstanding - you can see the beach from the restaurant windows and feel as if you are on the beachfront.

Overall experience was very very good across our two night stay. Only very very minor - conditioner would be a nice bonus included in the toiletries (very much NOT a necessity though!) and complimentary coffee was decaf only.

All the staff (reception, housekeeping and restaurant) were friendly and helpful, all were very happy to help us with our questions etc., couldn't ask for more from them. The photo's online of our room was accurate to what we had when we checked in and water provided in the mini-fridge free of charge, all the basics you would expect in the room including a safe, tea/coffee making and minifridge, bathroom items provided (including disposable razor, soap/shampoo/bodywash etc.), breakfast was good with fresh scrambled eggs made to order (however, there are a lot of options for breakfast locally which were less expensive), location is excellent, right on the beach front (beach towels are provided in the room which was good). Had a lovely stay here.

Everything was perfect

Beautiful hotel on the beach. All the staff are lovely and Gerardo is exceptional he is super helpful and friendly. It's a great location and has some great restaurants nearby. Breakfast has a great variety and there is no excuse not to be healthy as well as opportunities to indulge.

The spa is lovely but you have to pay to use it. The gym is free and is basic.

The staff were excellent and very professional despite the surrounding flood conditions.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in future. Nothing negative to say at all except the weather was quite poor. Something the bright staff took in their stride.
