Opera House Valencia B&B

The location was very good and the property was clean and well maintained.

The only downside was the breakfast, which was served at a nearby bakery. The selection was quite limited, with only two sandwich options available. If I stayed here again, I would choose the option without breakfast, as it is optional anyway. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

We love the location, the room as clean and spacious and they offered coffee and some croissants for breakfast.We asked a couple of questions and they were answer very fast. Also, it is very easy to find parking space in the area.

It's not really a hotel and lacks hotel Ste services. No front desk, Very thin walls ( I could hear full action from room next to me until 3am and had to buy earplugs)No possibility to leave luggage further than 4pmThin mattresses and flat pillowsIt's like sharing a room in an 8 room apartment

Very close to opera house which is why we booked, but other than that, it is a little far from everything else . Though if you don’t mind walking, it’s probably like 30 minutes walk from city center

The entry code for the front door didn’t work on arrival and took 15 mins on the phone to sort out. The replacement code then ceased to work after day 3, meaning another call to the office. There really needs to be a more reliable system.The pool had no beds, and being somewhat Brutalist there was only concrete to lie on or concrete benches.

Location was to our taste Quite and quite close to all main places. We used busses and for us it worked fantastic. The place was clean and stuff was helpful and friendly. Good swimming pool availability Extra nice moment was water in the fridge for guests and small treats Cozy and clean place with ac and comfy bed

Suggestions for improvement: -shower holder didn’t work for us - table in the room would be great - noise from restaurant downstairs in the evening time ( when they were collecting chairs) - bigger fridge, for 8 rooms that is quite small fridge ( couldn’t buy fruit of food as we wished too)

Maria was extremely helpful and the booking in process was very clear. Breakfast around the corner, which was included in the price, was really good. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. Nice view over the pool and in a great location for exploring Valencia.

The only minor irritation was access to the pool which is a bit convoluted. And the absence of loungers is a shame.

The property is great! The rooms are clean and functional with everything you need. Cleaning available daily and the staff are very helpful. The common area was well stocked and a lovely place to eat breakfast. We all really enjoyed the swimming pool and it was so nice to have the shade over the pool. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

The only issue for us is that we didn’t have rooms next to each other. We were 2 adults and 2 children so had to split and sleep 1 adult and 1 child in a room and would’ve preferred rooms next to each other. Only other downside is that there was a bit of slime in the deepest end of the pool towards the end of our stay

The rooms are spacious enough, comfortable, clean and easily accessible with the code, so no need to carry a key. AC worked well which was a lifesaver during hot summer days. The service staff was super helpful and friendly, easily reachable through WhatsApp or in person at the property. There is a coffee machine and some pastries available all day every day and a small communal kitchen area with a fridge that can be used. The location is good, especially for getting to the Art & Science museum and park, there are bus stops nearby and the center is a 30 min walk away, but the beach is a 50min walk or 45mins with public transport so ended up using taxi quite a bit.

Having access to a pool was great, and the pool was nice and clean, but I wish they had some sunbeds for lounging. Currently they only have plastic lawn chairs and some cement benches so the pool is not super comfortable for an all-day lounge and sunbathing. Getting to the hotel and rooms is only by going up some stairs, no elevator available (but they have a chair lift attached to the stairs), so it can be tricky with heavy luggage. While not a big issue, the rooms could benefit from a small desk to work from and a mini fridge (even though you do have access to the communal one in the kitchen area which is close to all rooms).

Excellent location—right next to Gulliver Park, with a bus stop two minutes away that takes you to the city centre or the beach. The bedroom is simple, with only a bed and a spacious bathroom. It has an iron and an ironing board. Nice staff - both the host and the housekeeper.

The only downside was the room being right in the common area, which could be noisy in the morning and in the evening when other guests were coming in, and not that private. I would advise asking for a back room.
