Pros +
- you get what you pay for, it's a bed in a hostel with friendly staff
- It will be good to have a sandwich grill, or an electric skillet and a sink to wash fruits and vegetables.
- Conveniently located near the station. The beds are shared but not too crowded, as most people probably stay for 1-2 nights. It was very convenient for me.
Cons -
- no cooking area. the kitchen is just a place to store food and heat a few things
- Clean, excellent location, friendly staff. That are constantly cleaning.
- Women’s Shower room - nowhere to place or hang your things while you shower. Wasn’t going to walk around the halls in a towel. So didn’t bother in the end, it was only a stopover stay. I can see what others’ have commented regarding reception staff. Nothing wrong with their service. But probably could be more professional when a customer is at the counter.

Quiet hostel. Close to train station (though on the other end of the high speed train exit). Nice big lounge area with many charging ports.

Comfortable and clean with good location.
To climb to the upper bed is a bit dangerous.
It was great to have the trains nearby, the sound helps me fall asleep, and it drowns out tue noise from other lodgers.
Bathrooms smelled quite a bit, would be helpful to have an air freshener!
I loved huge common area with couches and 24/7 bar with nice prices. There is also small coworking area on the second floor with cozy decor. Good sockets coverage everywhere. Good wi-fi. Using app instead of regular key was little bit tricky at the beginning, but turned out very practical. The room had comfortable temperature, the bed was comfy and thanks to curtain felt private enough. The stuff was very friendly and when I returned next day after moving to spend couple of hours with my laptop, they allowed me to do it. I definitely will return again.
I was a little confused that the hostel located in rail station building. But my suspicions were not confirmed. I felt really secure and calm.
It's a good place, quite clean and cozy. It's quiet, despite the train squealing behind the wall. The lower cabinets are a bit poorly thought out; they're metal, and when someone tries to open them at night, there's a huge bang, which really interferes with sleep. Otherwise, it's great.
Location was excellent, Staff was friendly. Beds were fine.
Had to use an app on my phone to open doors.
The location is great.
It was dirty ? The wall right next to the bed had spots, and I don’t even want to guess what they were (but I’ll add a picture ??). The bedding also had stains. I was glad I stayed there for only a few hours.
Very close to everything. Room was fairly quiet and well ventilated.
The room was way too cold. I arrived late, it was hard to get on the bed as the stairs to climb up to the second bunk bed were just a tiny metallic handle. I thought I was going to be able to cover myself enough to get warm but the provided bedsheets were too thin. Overall not a great sleep.
Location
Only two showers for a large number of people. The so called latter for the top bunk was not safe almost fell multiple times. The beds make a ton of noise. Also, there idea of a breakfast is a joke because they only give you a ton of bread and jam. What if something is gluten free? There is no healthy options it's really rude in my opinion.
The living room looks nice, its in a train station, so that feels interesting.
The beds are terrible, very poorly made, made alot of noise and are uncomfortable, i couldnt use the stairs to get to my bunk bed without it hurting. The beds have space on the sides so when your bottom bunk partner turns on the light, you see alot of that.
The room has a fresh and pleasant smell, and the bathroom is incredibly clean. I had a great night’s sleep!
Nice and friendly staff! But everything else is not in very good condition. The beds need repair and replacement of pillows, the curtains should be dry cleaned. No personal nightstands near the beds. There are no shelves near the sink in the toilet, and the repair is outdated - in general, wc are not good and smell strange( In living room - some of the sockets are broken.
Good location, and the room smells fine thanks to a diffuser.
The aisle has a strong odor from the common bathroom, and the toilet/shower area is very small. The steel beds are noisy, and one of the reception staff was quite rude.
Very noisy beds, noisy curtains to pull across for privacy & the metal boxes under the bed
The location is great. It's right by the train station and close to the city center zone.
Staff isn't hospitable. Check-in took ages. There's a general state of disrepair (loose door-knobs, sinks that don't release any water, empty soap dispensers, etc). You have to pay extra for pretty much anything (towels, a lock for your things, etc), which sucks given that you're already paying a very high price to stay in a cramped dark room that looks and feels like a military dormitory.
The location is definitely the biggest selling point of this hostel. Additionally, the wi-fi is good, I was able to videocall without any issues. The common space is also very accomodating.
As soon as I got there, the employees were not welcoming at all. Overall, the hostel is not very clean, namely the bedroom and especially the bathroom. About the latter, it was in a bad condition, there were multiple things not working, it was always dirty. The shower area was also way to small, and there is absolutely no space to get dressed or even to leave your things while you shower.
Everything. Location is perfect. Rooms are clean. Staff is amazing. Bus station, metro, city center, everything is near. I recommend UP Hostel to everyone.
