Casa Bassa Hotel

This is a wonderful hotel. Backed up along the beach meaning your feet will hit the sand within seconds of leaving the hotel. You're also a short uber/car ride away from Old town, and everything Valencia has to offer (aka, a lot). Parking is plentiful as well, the hotel has some spots you need to reserve but there is a ton of beach parking as well as a paid underground parking area which, although a tad pricy, is the safest way to go. The beach is full of restaurants and places to go as well and the hotel restaurant was fantastic. Staff was kind and welcoming, the room was extremely clean and visually great to look at as well. Will come back here again when I visit Valencia. When I was there there was an EDM festival on the beach as well and I got to enjoy some live music from the hotel which was awesome.

Not related to the hotel or anything, but beware of people trying to usher you into parking spaces. This is a common thing along the beach line as i've noticed and they will tell you to park in a free parking space, and then beg for a tip. Beach parking is free, so don't get scammed.

The location was perfect for the beach, which is why we booked it. And it has a car parking space that you can reserve which is a must in that area since it is so busy. The room was very comfortable with good facilities.

The breakfast was relatively poor. It took some time to get served since they appeared to be short staffed, and the choice was limited. And they had run out of fresh orange juice.

Location, staff was great, Rooms were nice

The terraces on the first floor are unusable because they are surrounded by rooms and corridors. And it is not comfortable and doesn’t deserve the extra cash. Also you cannot use it for smoking because it is a smoke free property and there is a fine it you smoke and kind of cigarettes. Also the breakfast is not very nice. Not a lot of options and honestly we didn’t like it.

Thad a fantastic stay at this hotel.The rooms are stylishly designed with modern interiors and recent renovations. The staff wereincredibly polite and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel restaurant, with its beautiful sea views, offered a perfect dining experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and stunning location?

The location and the restaurant

I asked staff to clean my room, but no one from the housekeeping came to clean my room.

Beautiful decoration and style of the hotel. Excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant. Fantastic location right on the beach. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very easy public transport links to the centre of Valencia and main attractions. Glorious weather.

Nothing, everything was good.

This is a great little hotel in the perfect place for both a beach and a city break. The only small room downside is it could do with more regular inspection/maintenance of the bathrooms decor around the edges. Apart from that the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast food and service were excellent. I would also recommend trying the restaurant for lunch/dinner too.

Hotel is amazing: right on the beach. The room are looking great, super clean and very comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was amazing!

Seaview rooms are super, love the decor and comfort level. There was a problem with the room on arrival but this was quickly dealt with.

The hotel is right on the beach front with exceptional views. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. A little slow when busy but we had a great view to watch whilst we waited to be served.

We weren’t aware of the marina beach club nearby, an open air disco from 11-3.30am. The noise was so loud we didn’t sleep. Very unfortunate as the hotel was great otherwise.

It was all great!

The reception staff were so nice, very friendly & helpful in their approach. The decor of the rooms was so lovely, wonderful colours and homely. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard on a daily basis. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. I had an internal room with a shared sort of balcony space. The breakfast choices were very generous and the food was very tasty and the restaurant looked out onto the beach. The Location on the beach was perfect to explore and go for a run. I had visited this stretch of beach a few years ago and wanted to return and stay in the area as it just a perfect setting. Tram and Metro to city centre easy within walking distance. Would definitely stay at Casa Basa in the future when I return.

The internal balcony courtyard was a bit odd. As I was out all day exploring I didn't feel I wanted to sit out there and probably wouldn't as it felt a bit like a fish bowl. I think some large pots of established plants to create a garden courtyard would look better. This is just my thoughts on the facility and it didn't affect my stay.

The staff were polite and helpful and the decor cute.

The noise , a couple argued for hours from 11.30-1.30 am I expected them to be told to keep quiet as it was not possible the whole hotel was not awoken by their constant shouting. I complained to reception but ended Up having to get out of bed and go downstairs to ask the couple to be considerate and that they should stop shouting...The husband was drunk and aggressive...Very sad situation and if ruined my nights sleep and then the next day I spent exhausted and feeling like I lost the day sightseeing...Although it was not the managements fault directly I expect them to protect the sanctity of sleep and to take control of the hotel and drunken guests.Ruined what would of been a great stay at this hotel

Fabulous location, friendly staff, exceptional breakfast. Stayed the night of the floods, couldn't check in til 5am but reception was staffed and so welcoming. Ended up staying a 2nd night when I couldn't get home. So helpful. Excellent restaurant, right on the beachfront.
