Well located right by the castle & the restaurant is nice

The spa is externally run so hotel guests cannot use it at leisure / at a time of their choosing

Unfortunately, they make a lot of mistakes in your reservation (wrong room). They seem disorganized with a willingness to do their best but make lots of mistakes: not telling you at what time you can use the spa and trying to help you book a treatment.

Great. We were not told the hammam was out of order. Pool a little cold. Breakfast quality products. Friendly and customer oriented staff.

Very nice room, friendly staff, nice spa. We soent a lovely night and had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant.

We were allowed to use the spa in the morning before departure but it was before the official opening hours- so the sauna was not functioning , there were no spa towels available and no one at the spa reception to assist us.Also while I was swimming repairmen entered the area which was uncomfortable.

The staff were charming. Particularly the lovely calm young lady who served our evening meals in the restaurant. Also the lovely young receptionist who helped us sort out our car problems. So helpful. Really nice room, bath, shower and comfy bed.

I was unsure if we could use the swimming pool . Also very few tea bags in the room. Several people have already commented on this so why hasn't it been addressed. In a top end hotel this doesn't seem a very expensive or difficult thing to do to keep clients happy

Restaurant was very poor for a hotel of this size. Menu was limited and even then many items 'not available'.

Really nice location, though a bit off the beaten track so I wonder how it will survive as a mid-range hotel. That may be explain why the place seemed pretty deserted even in high season. Staff were very pleasant, some English spoken.

Just little things, but of course these make the difference. The door to our room (121) was sticking, couldn’t easily be opened more than a third of the way. Judging by the marks on the floor, it had been like that for some time. No cups in the room (we had to ask) and a minimal amount of tea and coffee sachets provided (only two coffees, and only one breakfast tea bag, although there were a few fruit teas). And we had to run the shower for about five minutes before any hot water appeared . Oh, and the room numbering sequence takes a little bit of getting used to too….

there was a pool and spa but we did not use them. We didn't use the dining facilities either.

I do wish breakfast was included (even a coffee and croissant!).

Staff with NO EXPERIENCE, too Young and not Managed at all !!!

I’m disabled and the toilet was very small and no bars on either side of toilet to help you get off and on the toilet

Excellent breakfast. Spotless room. Friendly and professional reception staff. Marine on the reception team was particularly good. Please thank her for her assistance.

The very modern room had a separate toilet from the bathroom on the other side of the room, yet there was no hand-wash basin in the toilet. This would not seem very hygienic. The air conditioning was only just sufficient in keeping the room cool.Slightly worrying departure as none of my credit cards or debit cards worked. Seemingly a problem with their point of sale card readers. I had to walk into the town for the ATM.

Staff excellent room 1st class.

Bar was very expensive. My meal was terrible. My main course was steak. Asked for medium came out raw no taste dry the worst steak I've ever had. I should have sent it back, but I was too tired to argue or wait for another. I would stop at the hotel but never eat there again.

The hotel was undergoing renovation works which was a little noisy

All staff were excellent. The restaurant was very good, the bar area is comfortable and we were very well looked after. Breakfast is very good Ander bonus of underground parking as it was raining very hard.

We were disturbed throughout the night by music coming from the speakers on the terrace it was being played all night long. Our window was open as the room if closed was a bit too hot for us even though we turned the air conditioning down as far as it would go. We did let the hotel know the following morning and the receptionist made a note of it. This is the 4th time we have stayed and obviously we will stay again in the past it has been exceptionally quite and this is the first time staying in that room we have had the problem.

Location we picked as wanted a quiet relax.

The location was very close to the village centre

There was little atmosphere and it was about to close for renovation. The spa and pool were shut. The meal we had was ok but nothing special

Lovely room, great shower & great staff.

Polite & friendly on reception. Lovely, comfortable spacious room at the back of hotel with views of the château & garden. Despite ongoing renovation our room was quiet. The workers respectful to guests. Water & tea making facilities adjacent to room & separate toilet from bathroom. Exceptionally clean. We would like to return again to try out the spa facilities after completion of the renovations.

Only dislike was the annoying lighting near tea making facilities which was motion controlled but didn't remain on long enough.
