    Pros +

    • Lovely calm space. Good restaurant.
    • Absolutely beautiful and tranquil, excellent room extremely clean and comfortable, safe secure parking, fantastic location for peace and quiet. Staff were absolutely fantastic, we got stuck in a traffic jam due to an accident, called the hotel and the staff were amazing and helpful and put us at ease for our late arrival.
    • The staff were friendly and helpful, sorting out a couple of beers on arrival, after a long drive (no bar), the rooms were large and clean.

    Cons -

    • The pool not included in the price. Despite restricted hours.
    • Could not find a fault.
    • The evening meal was a bit on the expensive side for an OK meal. The wine was also quite expensive compared to the prices paid at other restaurants further south. That said the restaurant was full.

Room was a chalet which we were not expectingWe were ased to pay €10 each to use the pool which we were not expecting. There was nothing on the dinner menu for vegetarians.

Great location easy to find, lots of parking. Friendly helpful reception and restaurant staff. Comfortable room and great shower. Good breakfast and dinner with wide choice.

Restaurant needed an extra wine waiter in circulation!

    9RobPosted on: 5-31-2024

Nice, cosy and quiet place. We got an upgrade from a room to a chalet. A very nice room in the garden. What a great surprise! Very friendly lady at the reception. Dinner was also very very good at a good price. We will return one day for sure!

Service at dinner could be more polite.

Excellent restaurant, both food and service.Enjoyable premisses and quit rest after a busy day

    7GlendaPosted on: 9-26-2023

The chalets were lovely and the little terrace and table. The Domaine was kept beautifully

The boiler in the chalet should be boxed in as they are noisy and woke us up. It was disappointing not to have breakfast in the restaurant on the Monday morning. There could be some hooks to hang coats to dry.

Good overnight stop with a good breakfast.

We were not sure about our payment as the hotel was closed. We later paid by telephone.

The chalet was beautiful and very comfortable

No restaurant facilities which we were expecting and no self catering facilities

    7StephenPosted on: 7-9-2023

    Lovely setting, garden. Quiet countryside

Our fault. We would have liked to use the restaurant and have a fresh breakfast, but we arrived on Sunday ;-(

    8DeePosted on: 7-5-2023

The room was great and the breakfast staff was a star

    The food was expensive

    8RichardPosted on: 6-29-2023

Brilliant location in the middle of countryside, restaurant was excellent, we had a wooden chalet in the grounds which was great for our dog, plenty of car parking, excellent breakfast .. try scrambled egg made with cream

Our shower door did not close properly and leaked water into room if not careful, no English language TV station

beautiful setting in a lovely part of France.

no fridge in the room. would’ve been useful. was told there was- there was not.

    6NicholasPosted on: 5-21-2023

The gardens and the restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel room. Impractical, completely lacked any charm, bedding which was uncomfortable - hung on to side all night due to the slope towards the middle!.The fee of £10/person to use the pool is unjustified in addition to the relatively high cost of the room.

The property is beautiful and people are very very nice. Loved everyone who works there!! Very nice and professional staff. Thanks! Restaurant was very good, 10/10. Delicious!

I did not like that for this price, the furniture is too used and dated. I’ve stayed in other hotels the same price level, and they were newer and more polished. For this price, the owner needs to seriously invest in the interior and room design. Rooms look like they are from 90s. Perfectly clean, but furniture is very old. Like at my grandmas house. Owner needs to do a massive upgrade because other hotels already did it. Shop for new tables, new chairs, newer and better closets. New showers and definitely new toilets.

    9LindaPosted on: 2-12-2023

Very quiet, space for the dog, staff at reception very friendly

    4SeanPosted on: 10-10-2022

The location was fine. We knew we’d be in a rural setting and were happy with the location. The buffet breakfast was good.

Over priced basic double room with own bathroom. Smell of sewage in our room and hallway. Spa opening times were odd. Finished our stay without using the pool, which was the only reason we chose this hotel.
