- Really helpful staff on arrival. The superior room with terrace and view of the Eure was simply blissful, one of the best places I've ever stayed in. Just stunning.Location right in the heart of a pleasant town is ideal, but also quiet.
- Great location lovely, room and facilities, general atmosphere was very positive, attentive staff, helpful and friendly their English was better than my French which was a bonus
- As well as being in a beautiful location on the river, it is the staff that really make this hotel. They are incredibly friendly and helpful - they cannot do enough for you. They go above and beyond and made us and our child feel so welcome.
Cons -
- Couldn't stay longer! Seriously, nothing to fault.
- Only minor but wifi reception was very intermittent it wouldnt put me off though. I would definitely stay here again.
- 1. No one in reception area to check in, restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday. No notice of it being closed and every place in town was closed on Monday. A local market opened at 5:00 where we bought sandwiches and soft drinks. Not my idea of a vacation evening out.

It was a beautiful location, hotel was clean and modern, nicely decorated.

The food was fantastic, staff were friendly, the view was amazing and local activities. The rooms were comfortable and what we expected. The cost was wonderful for a high end facility.
Variety of breakfast food, it was extremely limited.
Good position on Main Street and riversideLarge junior suite
Our room was excellent, especially for the dog - A small enclosed private garden was included. Breakfast was basic but good quality. Lovely views over the river from the terrace and when having breakfast.
One of the reasons we booked here was for the restaurant. This was closed on the night we were there and we had to get a takeaway. To be fair, they did warn us of this after we booked and we could have cancelled but decided not to.
Great location overlooking river in lively small town. Very picturesque. Balcony with table and chairs. Staff very attentive. Secureparking
Shower was small, no heated towel rail in bathroom.
Cleanliness and interior design and bedroom product were very good. Staff were well trained and friendly.
Breakfast was very poor value at 15 euros each. Management should look at the offer and either offer what is there complimentary or make the changes required for it to be good value for money. No cheese or meats available, Croissants and Pain au Chocolat didnt look fresh.
Lovely place, perfect if you’re going to Giverny. The restaurant was amazing. Amongst the best we had in France in our / week travels.
Fantastic comfy bed and cute location next to the river. Staff were amazing and the food exceptional. Safe private parking too.
The hotel was modern with original character. The restaurant was amazing, and I’d definitely go back for the quality of food. Location alongside the river was lovely.
Excellent all around. Helpful and pleasant staff. Beautiful setting.
An elevator might have been helpful but the staff helped us with the suitcases.
Lovely hotel, close to Giverney. Good size rooms and large, very comfortable beds with good quality linen. Separate toilet and large shower.
Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open, however, we were advised by the property 5 days prior and were given suggestions for eating out. There was no plug for the bathroom sink.
Stunning location by the river and very nice contemporary rooms with much needed and effective wi-fi. Competent staff and good private parking.
The menu was reduced with no prior notice to just 2 choices per course. Starters were Euro 18 each, main course 38 and dessert 14 each, so Euro 70 for a 3 course meal with very limited choice, which we felt was way over the top. Apparently a new chef had arrived the day before and had not yet extended his repertoire. We also had one 50cl beer and one 25cl beer which cost Euro 16. Much cheaper options in the nice town just a few metres away.
The room was very clean, all renovated, contemporary design, very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us with the luggage since there was no elevator. The location was great. You are in the middle of the town but by the river and surrounded by trees so you don't feel like bing in town. You can walk to town and restaurants in less than one minute.
The breakfast was ok but could have more choices like eggs, etc...The room lacked some hooks for towels and especially for the nice robes they gave us.The garden was very bare. No swimming pool, no flowers. The few long chairs and chairs were dispersed. They looked more like they were abandoned rather that in a nice setting.
We appreciated the very warm welcome from Marine and the upgrade to a Deluxe suite so our two rooms were adjacent to each other. The beds are very comfortable and the complimentary tea and toiletries are great quality (eg Nuxe bathroom products and Mariage Freres teas). The provision of daily Newspapers and magazines in the bar area. The garden and terrace areas are lovely. The riverside setting is peaceful and pretty - the hotel is central, on the high street of the small town, but is also set back from the main road and with its own car park. The relaxed/informal atmosphere is great and comes from the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff we encountered. Dinner and breakfast both excellent. Our dog was welcomed. Highly recommend a stay at Bel Ami.
Quite clean and stylish
Staff were incredibly rude. The receptionist offered us a table for dinner upon check in, but then when we went to sit in the bar with our slightly excited kids 30 mins later the restaurant manager wouldn’t give us a table… it was an empty restaurant. Incredibly rude attitude towards us and we ended up having to walk around the dump of a town to find the kids some dinner as the Super U had shut. This place just isn’t family friendly and the staff were snobby, which was getting a little ahead of themselves, I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels and many 4 star hotels.. we were here for convenience and it was a rude and uncomfortable experience.Rooms aren’t exactly what’s pictured also.
Clean and nice location
The food in the restaurant was not good. I believe the head chef was off when we ate their. But that should no be an excuse.
