    • Horrible
    • The location is good and has a good parking

    Cons -

    • The room were old and I think no matter how much the staff cleans, they just cannot clean the junk out of the rooms. It needs to be rehauled.
    • This was a box, not a room. The bathroom was not a bathroom but a little box in itself, 1sqm, like a camping toilet. And that's how it smelled in the whole room, like a camping toilet.
    • The shelf fell down on my hand, the room was not clean as expected.

the restaurant next door of a different Hotel chain was a place to go to.

Even for 1 Person rooms are very small. No space even outside to sit.

I didn’t like anything from this property.

No safety at all at this hotel, when you arrive it’s an automatic check-in ( a machine) that gives you your key to the room without indications on where to go. When we eventually found our room, there were people doing drugs on the stairs closeby. Our room was filthy smelt like it had never been cleaned, we found hair and popcorn in our bed sheets. We are pretty sure nothing had been cleaned since the previous guests. Also our front door didn’t close properly so we didn’t feel safe at all. No physical person at the desk to report to.

The evening receptionist was polite, friendly and professional. He offered to change room if he had one( but said hotel was full) and he gave us extra towels and was happy to provide anything we needed. The beds were comfortable though.

Room had ants near bathroom. Bathroom was very small. This hotel category is very basic although there are premiere classe hotels better than others as I stayed in a few before. But just expect a bed to sleep on, and no more. Lighting was very bad. Also when you sleep, the light switch of the nightlight flashes on top of your head while you sleep if the lights were still off. Otherwise, you had to leave the sidebed light on.

    Close to road

Noise - temporary facility used for permanent buissnes I have been sleeping in Afghanistan and Iraq in this worker temporary units Drugging the luggage it's like a somebody singing piano all night long

A member of the evening staff was really kind.

I think there were bedbugs (or something else) in the sheets, because the next day I was full of bites and wounds that if scratched gave me itching and irritation

It was very clean , free WIFI , free parking lot in front of the hotel , very quiet hotel and surrounding. By car not too far from Lyon city.

The bathroom door should be kept close because the pipes give a smell. Relatively expensive for what you get.

Proximity to the main route to get back to the UK.

Noise from other guests quite late into the night, like they were running up and down and talking loudly. The bunk above the main bed was a target for my head every time! Didn’t mind that the room was small, a clean bed and bathroom was all that was needed but we got no sleep because of the noisy surrounding guests.

Great value for money and free parking. Frequent buses take you to the nearest metro station, quite easy to reach. The staff is quite friendly: since the fist room we got had a smelly toilet, they let us change it - the second one smelled of tobacco, but the third one was alright.

The room is small and the bathroom is minuscule: my friend and I joked about it looking similar to an airplane bathroom, that's how small it is! We had a room on the back side, which was so noisy (window and door barely have any insulation from the highway) that we had a hard time falling asleep. Breakfast didn't look appetizing, so we skipped it.

    Close to city

DOnt select breakfast at this hotel. You literally have nothing other than bread and pain. Prefer Ibis which is at city centre though it is just 10Euro more

Location near the highway , easily accessible.

The whole room smelled like smoke, that was very dissapointing

Great location (close to the highway) and very nice personnel

The room had a smell of cigarettes

    2RupaPosted on: 10-13-2023

The reviews were already bad in Google with people describing incidents of smoke smelling bedsheets and the noise from the highway. So I was mentally prepared for the worst. The reality is not that bad. I would say the only pinch I felt was it was a motel rather than a hotel and the rooms are pretty small. Good for a 1 night stay or just to leave your stuff if you have a busy agenda in Lyon. The breakfast was very basic, with some pound cake, baguettes, yogurt, juice and coffee

The bathroom was the size of an airplane washroom, with barely any space to shower. The hotel did not provide complimentary bottled drinking water . I think the hotel could be good for a 30-50€ per night price and not over 100€ for no facilities whatsoever. keep in mind that to get to the hotel, you need to walk up a hill from one of the bus stops and with backpacks and suitcases it gets quite challenging to reach the location. This is applicable also for the Campanile hotel situated right across the street.

Dark gentleman at reception was very polite and very helpful person. Thank you so much

Honestly it was very budget room with all basic facilities so can't complaints

Helpful and courteous night manager. Morning manager equally pleasant and helpful.

For anyone with limited mobility, a little awkward. Very hilly in the surrounding area.

    Friendly staff.

The room was dirty an looked like a cell in prison. Cracked sink and generally dirty. Garbage on the floor under the bed and on the floor. Hole in the carpet covering the bed. The walls had writings on it and marks high up on the wall. The shower curtain was disguisting. When I used the automatic check in, it gave me just 1 of two rooms. Luckily the reception guy got us the 2nd room.
