B&B HOTEL Lyon Ouest Tassin

Difficult to find with all the construction going on. Parking not easy the first time, but once figured out all was good.

Good quality for the price.

Everything was good ( staff, cleanliness and spacious)

It served the purpose for us as a 1 night stop-over before continuing our journey.

The parking was non-existent for any vehicles over 1.9m, which hadn't been made clear at the time of booking. When I asked at reception where we could park there was a shrug of the shoulders and I was informed that there was none. Thankfully I asked at the hotel next door who were only too happy to allow us to park in their car park for the night. So massive thank you to them.The hotel room lacked any drink making facilities such as kettle, tea etc (which we have had a different B&B hotel). Again, a bit of a shrug of the shoulders from reception. Not idea when you have been driving for several hours and just want a cup of coffee.

The area was a bit run down we didnt feel safe in the street in the evening .It would be better if we could of had a light meal in the hotel .

I don't know why but at breakfast there was a sign saying bacon, but there was no bacon during my entire breakfast.

First day first time using the shower, the drain already clogged, water was everywhere in the room. We can barely walk, foot nowhere to put. An apologize for situation like this is the least you can do, however, we received none.

Quiet and room spacious.

Far from Metro (1.2 km to Valmy station). The bus 5 stop moved and bus interval is 20 mins plus.

Greqt staff and private parking.

Very friendly personnel; easy to reach from motorway on the way to the south; good beds, four bed room is big.

Staff doesn’t speak English when we tried to call. We sent email in English, after no reply we sent in French and never got a reply

Dint have much option for breakfast. fresh prepared was only eggs and that too was over and took long time to refill.

Basic B&B, nothing else. As expected.Parking felt safe way down in the ground easy to find the hotel.

A rather long walk with children from the metro. A bit dodgy neighbourhood, but we didnt feel unsafe.We wanted to see the historic Lyon and was sent walking to downtown Vaise. Not the same thing.

Was really cheap and clean.

Very far away to city center. Reachable with only a couple of busses. Hard to get there from the city center.
