    Pros +

    • The grounds were stunning; a vast garden with plenty of seating and deck chairs to relax on, and a big swimming pool in the sun. The pair of sheep and pair of chickens that wander the grounds were a particular highlight! The single dish dinners were also fantastic. Loved our stay here - a real gem of a find!
    • Only 20 min by car from L'Isle sur la Sourge, charming historical house, cozy, quiet and modern. We recommend to try the restaurant as well
    • Nice classic architecture, great breakfast and good dinner menus

    Cons -

    • I would have liked a little more life at the restaurant and bar at night. We had ordered one meal at the hotel, which was curry chicken. We like to eat french dishes when in France, so we went to Pernes-Les-Fontaines for dinner. The owners are friendly but could be more accommodating.
    • There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and there was a lot of noise from a machine and the sound of other residents at night.
    • My 4 year old son was crying because he fell outside during breakfast. The owner of the hotel came by and asked that he stopped crying because it was 8 in the morning. People should learn you can’t always control kids.I wouldn’t recommend this place for smaller kids.

We liked the studio where we had the opportunity to prepare our own meals. We liked the pool area and garden a lot. Very quiet and lots of space. We only stayed for four nights, so we ordered breakfast which we enjoyed in the garden.

The grounds and location were beautiful setting for a lovely traditional French hotel. The set menu dinner was delicious as was the breakfast.

There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and there was a lot of noise from a machine and the sound of other residents at night.

Second visit, special place with lovely pool and gardens, with a warm welcome and delicious dinner and breakfast.

We spend one night when travelling to the South of France. Clean hotel with a nice swimming pool and large garden. Good dinner and breakfast. Nothing special but very tasty.

My 4 year old son was crying because he fell outside during breakfast. The owner of the hotel came by and asked that he stopped crying because it was 8 in the morning. People should learn you can’t always control kids.I wouldn’t recommend this place for smaller kids.

Lovely historic Inn in a tranquil countryside setting. The owners and family manage the Inn and are all very friendly. Breakfast is very nice. This is a beautiful old chateau.

They serve dinner for convenience of guests if you pre-order. Not going back out for dinner is convenient after a day sightseeing but note the food is simply average. If you have any walking problems, know that there are no elevators and many rooms on second and third floors.

Attractive place. We had our own garden.

Ants in the kitchen. A smell of drains around the place.

It is a family owned hotel and that feels. The owners are really caring. We felt welcomed. The breakfast are simple, but stable - you know what you will get every morning. The terrace and breakfast, living room area are very nice. The family has a few cats and dog, that creates a feeling of home.

Nothing, unless the pool could be heated :) or rooms are a bit small.

A truly unique place to stay at, we really enjoyed every moment of it.The surrounding garden is a magical place, the interior of the building is charming, the rooms are comfortable and pretty, with a magnificent view on the garden. Excellent breakfast and delicious dinners, super kind hosts. Strongly recommended for a holiday in Provence!!!!!

Everything was perfect. Perhaps the bed a little too soft for me.

    Staff welcome and location.

Bed - mattress too 'solid' for a comfortable night's sleep.

    The quiet surroundings

The rooms are quite datedNo tea making facilities in the room. Upon arrival I requested some tea thinking it would be complementary. I was asked later that evening to pay €3.50 for the tea!! That’s robbery!! I came to pay but the lady at reception (owner I think) was busy. She later knocked on my door for payment. The feeling of being hounded for €3.50, disrupting my yoga session and private time, left me feeling annoyed!Overall, not a pleasant stay

Beautiful grounds, helpful and patient staff. They have a cat that understood the emotional needs of a solo traveler.

The pillows are too thick for a smaller woman’s body which resulted in a very sore neck and shoulder. They are also square which make them uncomfortable as well.

Lovely traditional Provencal Hotel with lovely gardens and pool area, located near Pernes les Fontaines (a charming French village). Good breakfasts, low key and relaxed vibe.

A bit of a false start with my rooms regarding the air con, which was quickly resolved. I was re-allocated a beautiful bright and spacious room with fully functioning air con, which I greatly appreciated.

    8ClaytonPosted on: 9-18-2023

Lovely rustic country house with a fab pool area, breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Enjoyed the chickens and crazy dog!

At first we were allocated rooms with either no air con or it wasn't working, they solved the issue quickly once notified.

The garden, the pool, very good breakfast, friendly staff, dog friendly, lovely cats... a very beautiful pace to stay! We will certainly come back!

Just to say something: the WIFI wasn't always working. Which was more an issue for our daughters as for us!?
