Hotel Shelley e delle Palme, BW Signature Collection

The hotel is beautifuuly located, My room was small but quite adequate for one person. The breakfast was excellent.

There was no restaurant or bar in the hotel.

Location and view were amazing. Quiet at night and good bed. Breakfast was great.

No fridge in the room. Would be nice if the awning on the balcony worked to shade from afternoon sun.

The views were fantastic, the beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast worth every euro! the staff was so accommodating that they were friendly an d assisted us with several requests and information on the area. we will be back! If you have a chance, stay here!

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the water … great location …staff great & helpful and breakfast was fresh …

Air conditioning didn’t work nor did awning work to cool our room down …

Location, breakfast and staff were rxcellent

A/C was broken and with a west facing window, and a broken sun shade/awning it was extremely uncomfortable so we opened the balcony doors but were then kept awake as there was a motorcycle parking lot directly below our second floor balcony and Italian motorcyclists revving up their engines well into the night.

The perfect location almost on the beach and tremendous view into the Bay of Poets, a fabulous vista!

The position is fantastic, facing the sea, and with sea view from the room balcony. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The bed materass was a bit too hard.

Big and comfortable room, good shower and awesome view.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, location on the seafront is excellent, with private bathing area (and bar in the evening) for guests. Bedroom was recently renovated, bed comfortable

Breakfast! Lots of Italian cake and sweet things, no fresh fruit salad, although I did see fresh fruits some mornings. No fruit juice (fresh or otherwise), no green tea, cooked breakfast not appetising...

Didn’t have breakfast. Excellent location and the cleaner changed the bedding daily and cleaned very well.

Attitude of some reception staff who weren’t interested in being helpful. I rang the hotel to ask the hotel for help in finding a taxi from Sarzana and they simply gave me a number to call a taxi myself. In the end I eventually found another taxi.

Too expensive for this !!

Expansive and the breakfast was not good at all. For this price …. First Night we get a small room and the second night a bigger but in the room it was Nothing in the Fridge , not even water..

Location was great and our ocean view veranda.

The pillows were not comfortable and another 2 pillows to choose from would be nice. Shower was interesting.

They have a private beach, and I had to pay €25 because they said they didn’t have a lifeguard now Also breakfast really bad . Old bread and no choice 4 years ago we stayed there also and everything was much better.

View from the room was amazing. The balcony was a charm, spacious and in front of the water. The breakfast is good, very controlled and good options. Beds are comfortable and the room had a nice size. Location is perfect, near restaurants, shops.

Parking is not free either public. You need to park far away from the property. Also, there is a cost of 9 Euros per day to use this parking place, however you have to be lucky to find a spot. Bathroom is tiny, not very comfortable. Elevators needs some maintenance, did not feel much safe riding it. The SPA does not seem much used, did not feel very comfortable to use it.

Location, location and location again.Half of the Hotel's rooms are facing directly to the see. Is definitely a must to request one of those even if are going to be slightly more expensive. Waking up, step on the balcony and admire the full gulf up to Porto Venere is a true joy for the eyes and the main reason to choose this accommodation.

The hotel is not new, but well maintained. Breakfast could be done much better. The savory choices are very few and almost hidden behind a high counter: eggs are offered only hard boiled - no sunny side up or any other style and no veggie at all. Very sugary juice from a dispenser. Considering Italian standard could be still acceptable, but definitely this is not the reason to choose this accommodation.

Parking is just far away from hotel on public parking space 7 eur a day

The hotel staff were wonderful. We weren’t given the room I was expecting, Booking .com we’re very misleading, but the staff were sympathetic and sorted it out as soon as they could.

The private terrace with sun beds and steps to the water was often fully booked and rather expensive. €40. We did treat ourselves a couple of times and it was wonderful.

Centrally located. Great view overlooking the bay from balcony.

Extracharge for hotel beach. Breakfast missing fresh products like bred fruits etc.

The location is the only thing that HSP has going for it.

The staff were the most unprofessional and unwelcoming we have ever come across. Apart from one American gentleman on the reception and the cleaning staff we found them aggressive and hostile. Three men in particular from the outside bar need to be trained how to speak to people in general. We were stopped three times from entering the hotel as guests and treated like thieves for simply picking up a leaflet! The lift smelled of sweet rotting corpses and the breakfast was simply inedible. The staff wondered round the breakfast room with ear pods in. The hotel terrace becomes a nightclub after hours with the most tragic -god awful music. 18 year olds roam about the reception area queuing up for the toilets. I found the melted candles and candelabra prop the DJ used particularly distasteful. The nutcracker Christmas decorations in the window late July says it all really! Do not waste your money please!
