Pros +
- The best thing going for this hotel is its location
- Clean. Comfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet was good.
- Located in a beautiful baroque merchant house, this hotel stands out as stylish and comfortable. Its a magnificent setting, in the middle of the Old Town or an underrated, fascinating city. The former merchant house has been transformed, with a rooftop terrace and pool. Our room was spacious and impeccable.
Cons -
- The room was absurdly small. There was only 1-1/2 feet between the bottom of the bed and you had to sidestep to go towards the bathroom. The room had tall glass windows so people on the street can look in. Thr room was noisy and I was awakened at night
- Windows face a courtyard
- A little faster checkin, but this is quibbling.

Location was great, atmosphere was unique
Upon arrival we found that the air was still on in October so we couldn’t warm our freezing cold room up. Host gave us a space heater to use
Everything was perfect! Cadiz is a lovely city and Soho was a great place to stay. Location is fabulous, near to the sites but off the busy Spanish paseos. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The bed was really comfy. The room was big enough without wasting space and the daily housekeeping visit was greatly appreciated!
The location was fantastic. There is a large underground car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are small, but well appointed and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
Got a room (101) that has a dummy window facing the reception. A 4* hotel should not offer such rooms. could hear all the reception discussions.ALL THE REST IS IRRELEVANT
DONT GO THERE
Location is good. Staff very friendly.
Breakfast not so good and expensiveNo reason towels need cleaning everyday.
They were excellent with our two support dogs and made us feel very welcome.
Their little fridge(frigobar) was not cool enough to keep our beverages cold. They do not provide any breakfast at all in their fees. Everything is extra, on top of daily rates
The location of this hotel was excellent, in the center of everything and within a 5 minute walk of the bus, train, and ferry stations. The building appears to be a former palatial home and the hotel spaces incorporate the old brickwork making it look stunning (European and Latin restaurants and high end hotels back home in the US only *wish* they could get this look!). The lobby is Instagrammable and smells lovely. The rooftop pool was a perfect place to cool off on a hot day without having to fight crowds at the beach. And the staff were fantastic, particularly the young woman who checked us in and out and who was there every evening (I think her name started with P, maybe Paloma?)
We prefer being rather cold when sleeping, but the AC doesn't go too low in the building - for environmental reasons - so we adapted to sleeping with light bed clothes. Small inconvenience and able to be overlooked.
Cadiz isn't very big, so walking to anywhere is always an option. This hotel had a great location for us driving a car and parking very close by to walk to the hotel. Room was very nice.
We loved the beautifully appointed room with coffee making machine unfortunately could use anything as we were affected by power blackout
Room size was great, very clean
The drain in the shower really wafted into the whole room, (sewage smell)More breakfast seating required, we waited a little while to be seated.
Very clean and good breakfast.
The interior walls were really thin and could hear everything in other rooms and water dripping. Rooms lacked sunlight.
Great position Lovely helpful staff
Disappointed the pool was not open
The hotel is in a good location and has nice decor and a good breakfast. But i couldnt give a good review as we could hear the people net to our room as if they were in the room with us. There are big gaps in ceiling area and we could hear our neighbours as if they were in our room, snoring, watching TV etc..
Nicely decorated and pumpered hotel in the city centre with nice staff. Good rooms.
Pristine hotel with lovely rooms in central location with nearby parking and friendly staff
The pool wasn’t open but it is early April but I would have still swam!!
Location perfect. Too much paperwork at check-in but the female receptionist was exceptionally patient! Very clean rooms.
Fabulous central location, very clean with well maintained facilities. Staff very hospitable
no parking but public underground carpark was only a 5min walk away.
