Private secure parking. Very Friendly helpful staff, very good breakfast, very dog friendly

Room very basic. No tissues, tea making facilities, no proper curtain in bathroom, only one of three bathroom lights working. limited menu, although food good

Location good and room a good size

Staff not over helpful. Didn’t inspire a return visit sadly

The small terrace was a beautiful location for dinner, which I would recommend. The room was quite small but perfect for what we needed, it was very clean, and the beds were comfy. There wasn’t aircon in the room but an electric fan was very welcome on such a warm night. Our small dog was also welcomed. There is no parking directly at the hotel, but we found a safe spot in one of the nearby car parks. A perfect stopover on our drive north on the A10. Thank you!

    Nothing. Everything was great.

Comfortable bed and room with excellent dinner

It would have been good to have a facility to make a cup of coffee or tea

Convenient for a night off the snow covered highway with a restaurant on premise.

Paper thin walls made for a noisy night following a very mediocre meal in what they advertised as a top notch restaurant.... not even close. The following morning an over priced breakfast that came straight from the supermarket.

Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, tolerant with our little dog who was a bit nervous after a whole day travelling on a car.

The only thing we didn´t like is that the shower is in a bathtub. However, that is a personal thing. We never use bathtubs and prefer a walk-in shower.

Great location. Huge room with enormous comfortable bed.

    7DerekPosted on: 9-22-2022

The lady on reception was very nice and helpful. The restaurant meal was very good.

Nothing to dislike except maybe the lounge area a bit sparse and impersonal.

The breakfast was excellent and so was the dinner the night before. The courtyard with its gurgling fountain was a haven after a blisteringly hot drive down and the gourmet menu was reasonably priced and outstanding. Pons itself is charming and we shall definitely go again when we are on our travels through France.

Very friendly staff, lovely evening meal in the courtyard garden. Perfect for an overnight stop. Secure parking, limited spaces so best to book although plenty of on street parking. Nice building with a beautiful wooden staircase.

There weren't any complimentary bottles of water in the bedroom. Bedrooms are OK but like the dining room lack any character. Breakfast was OK but a limited continental choice.

The staff, location, history and food was outstanding. Courtyard for dinner in summer is an experience not to be missed. Offstreet parking can be facilitated. Bathroom was large, clean and bright. Balcony off the room was a nice surprise

Bedroom was quite small but functional and very clean, pillows were too flat and uncomfortable

    9JoergPosted on: 6-12-2022

Very friendly owner, originally from Germany. This hotel is a pearl and is situated in the city center of Pons. Perfekt breakfast but even better was the restaurant! We have had such a great dinner and the choice of wine and Cognac is in a very high level. This food is worth every Euro. If we are coming back in this region, we will stay here again.

    8AnthonyPosted on: 5-16-2022

traditional French in all respects yet lifted by contemporary touches. Nice outside courtyard for dinner

dinner not exceptional and rather fussy but staff excellent

    10PatriciaPosted on: 5-7-2022

Breakfast was superb. Receptionist was charming and helpful

    Internet access could be better.

Central location, fantastic staff, good restaurant, car garage.

height price for service in the room. no hairdryer, no shower towel, batroom lay-out with WC in wrong position. a lot of noise from other room. no bottle of water in the room.

It was our third stay in Hotel de Bordeaux, so no surprises. We stayed on the night of 1st to 2nd January and we were the only guests, so very quiet. The restaurant was closed, like other restaurants in the center, but the owner provided a very nice and tasty cold plate. Excellent service!

    8MichaelPosted on: 9-23-2021

    Breakfast and dinner both good.

Mirror in shower room was too high. No mirror in room.
