LOGIS Hotel Majestic Chatelaillon Plage - La Rochelle

Our second stay in this stylish hotel, and again we loved the early 1900's decor, the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, the location - so we are very likely to return !

Comfy old world French hotel with a big garage for our parties' touring bikes. Owner was nice and chatted happily about cycling!

It was a beautiful period property. A very good welcome after a long journey from UK to get there

We are smokers and would love a place to smoke that was sheltered from the rain

Sea view from 3rd floor.GOOD BUFFET BREAKFASTNICE DECORMODERN SMALL ROOM

No lift but no prob lovely stair well.

Lovely family room with bunk beds and large bathroom. Great location beside restaurants and the market and just a few minutes from the beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful

Cosy hotel only 100 metres from the beach and the staff were very helpful.

we had a premium room so great space

Small thing, but crack in toilet seat

Beautiful old building

On third floor and no lift could have been a problem but only there for one night so ok

Good location

No lift to 1st floor and no assistance offered with luggage. Very noisy neighbours could hear them at 3amSmall room with plastic coffee cups

We booked two rooms, double and family Our double room was good and had air conditioning but the family room that slept 2 adults a toddler and baby didn’t so consequently the room was stiflingly hot , would recommend the hotel think about this.Breakfast was super and enjoyed by all our family Overall the hotel staff were very friendly

No air conditioning in family room which was needed as extremely hot in room and outside

One night stay whilst driving from France to UK. Lovely old building with character and polite efficient staff. Character of the building really made the stay, rooms were clean and passable and our family room was a big size. AC provided by a noisy portable unit.

Noisy AC. No parking except on street nearby.

The rooms were spotless, super location and friendly staff

We had three lovely nights at Hotel Majestic. We arrived early but the staff were very helpful with their advice of where to go and happily held our bags for us. They even provided a room for us to change for the beach. I travelled with my two sons and the triple room was perfect for us. The weather was hot and there was no air conditioning but the fan and the large windows meant it never felt uncomfortable. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the town with a great choice of restaurants, cafes and bars around. We'll definitely be back.

Everything was good.

The location is near the beach .all transport and.lots of places to eat and drink.

Perfect location just in the heart of Châtelaillon-Plage, 2 minutes work to the beach. Very spacious and comfortable room for French standards. Breakfast is very good.

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms always clean when returning back to the hotel. Very very close to the beach barely a 5 minute walk.

An 'old world' hotel in the village centre. It retains many of the original features from the 1920's particularly the dining room which is magnificent. The room was a good size and the bed was excellent, very comfortable. The host was very amiable and gave very good recommendations for a local restaurant.

I was very happy with the hotel as it was. Perhaps some people may find it a bit old fashioned!!

Good location, helpful staff, value for money.

Parking was a problem - had to park some distance away as no on site parking. Room was comfortable and clean but bathroom was smelly which permeated the room.

Location from station and beach acceptable.Room was clean and very comfortable.

Breakfast buffet had a great selection and staff were very helpful

For my purposes ie a one night stop on a cycling trip, it was perfect.
