- Felt that the noise from adjoining rooms was slightly annoying when trying to get to sleep. However, it didn’t last too long.
- There is no restaurant. Every day there is a the same very limited menu for room service only as the “Lounge Bar” is shut as so is the Morning breakfast room! The “lounge bar” (estimated 3m wide by 10m including the bar) has only 3 or 4 small tables for 2 & the only place to eat in evening! Therefore, hotel guests have to go out, regardless of the weather conditions, with taxis being very limited. The more spacious Morning breakfast room is empty all afternoon & evening - all very strange. No lounge to relax.

Ummm I guess firstly location.The Spa was good.Our room was ok Breakfast was acceptable but no more than that.

Absolutely incredible stay from start to finish.We are so happy to have found this little gem of a hotel. We did so much research into the best luxury hotel in Il de Ré and this had lived up to our expectations and more. The location is also perfect - a short 5 minute walk to the main port tucked away. The staff here are so lovely, each and every one of them goes above and beyond, really making our stay memorable. The brunch is phenomenal, we would wake up looking forward to it every day. I don’t have a single complaint about this hotel. We can’t wait to come back and thank you to all the lovely staff for making our trip so memorable. The spa is an added bonus - the hotel gives each guest daily use of its facilities which add a further hint of luxury to the stay. I will be recommending Le Clos Saint Martin to all my friends and family - a 5* experience.
