The location, view, and service .

The most beautiful place to sit and enjoy was only used as a bar, not breakfast place option.

What a great expiriance! from the receptionists to the rooftop bar and the breakfest. everything was just perfect. The hotel is 5 minutes from the town center and 8 minutes from the beach. The train station is fairly close so you can take day tips along the cost vilages.A true filling of luxary with good value for money.

Nothing not to like.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful spot overlooking Sestri Levante. Staff were fantastic, the hotel was so helpful with parking and dinner reservations, as well as assistance with directions around town. Beautiful hotel spaces, gorgeous pool, lovely rooftop, Terrace and bar, and gorgeous views from the hotels restaurant. I will come back to Sestri Levante.

Only wish the actual hotel room space was larger, but it did come with quite a large side garden in one room and quite a large balcony in the other. So in all, I guess it’s nice to have both indoor and outdoor space.

Gorgeous- beautiful location and very clean/accessible.

Rooms were smaller than we realized when we booked. Very crowded for two people and crib.

Everything - rooms, pool, bar and especially the view

the views from this hotel are worth the price of admission. We had lunch and snacks for dinner in the bar with superb service. Breakfast was also exceptional in selection and choices with an attentive wait staff even though breakfast was included in our stay.

Nothing much - the hotel has some age and thus some issues of lighting, switches etc. but all manageable. Very relaxing environment with GREAT staff

The breakfast that is included was phenomenal and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The views were magnificent.

The dining room menu was very limited unless you wanted gourmet dishes.

The view!!! Also location - it’s the best you can find in the entire area. The location is excellent—within walking distance of all the local restaurants. The pool. Very good breakfast with the view and glass of prosecco - what could be better. Aperitivo on the top terrace.

View from the restaurants was fabulous. First floor room was good with lots of room in jr suite.The breakfast was amazing with endless quality choices. A great option for hungry guests. Front desk and valet staff was so friendly.

Breakfast serving staff was less than friendly. Common area finishes, like carpeting, could use updating. Double room was supposed to be non smoking but filled with smell of cigarettes but staff was happy to change.

Delicious breakfast! Wonderful restaurant and servers! Loved the whole experience!

Great view from Sky Bar over Bay of Silence and pool area is good if a little crowded later in the day.

Superior room was smaller than expected for the price and sea view was not over the Bay of Silence.

Stayed n newly refurbished Deluxe room,3A, and can highly recommend it as quiet and restful with a beautiful view. And worth the upgrade.The pool is ideal for a few hours or the hike day and the breakfast was a high quality buffet with plenty of choice.The hotel sits high above the town with a sensational aspect, and you can be in the centre within minutes using the external lift.Will definitely return to Vis A Vis and Sestri Levante.

No complaints, all was good.

The views over Sestri Levante and the coast are fantastic, especially from the roof bar and pool. Breakfast is extensive and good choices for lunch in the bar or pool area.Staff very attentive, and special mention to the pool guy - Nicola I think - who kept the whole area very clean whilst also attending to our every need.

The location near restaurants, waterfront bars and shops was extremely convenient however the hotel is elevated and offers the most magnificent views day and night. We had a wonderful time in 2 room types - 3rd floor partial sea view for adults and 1st floor courtyard room for teen sons. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of options and the pool area was immaculate- again with epic views. My family rated the stay either 9 or 10/10. My husband said we will definitely be back and one of the best boutique hotels we have experienced. I would highly recommend this hotel - it is completely charming.

There is nothing we didn’t like. That’s why we stayed there a second time and probably there will be a third time

We LOVED the outdoor space of this hotel. The pool area & outdoor dining area was incredible. The views were amazing and every staff member we met were so attentive and nice and remembered you every day. We felt very looked after. Great options at breakfast too and the shuttle service to Sestri Levante was great if you have luggage and couldn't walk / taxis hard to find. This is a great location if you want to visit Portofino & the Cinque Terre as the train station is a short 10min walk (or you can get the free shuttle service from the hotel). The town is also only a short walk away and has lots of great restaurants & bars. Perfect location.

Our room was located at the elevator so it got quite noisy as the rooms are not soundproof. The room next to us on our first night 2 nights had someone with a bad cough and we could hear it very clearly all night. We are good sleepers so we didn't mind hugely and never complained but we did notice it. While the outdoor spaces are amazing, the rooms could do with a bit of an update as they are quite old (but still well maintained). I knew this when booking, from looking at the photos of the rooms so I was expecting it but still noted for the price. Not a lot of space in the rooms if there for more than a few days, could do with some more shelving and we had to leave our cases on the balcony to make enough floor space in the room.
