Hotel Doria

I have searched a long time for a great hotel in Liguria, and this hotel turned to be an excellent choice. We absolutely liked the atmosphere of the hotel, being a great fit for a family vacation. Rooms were, although small, but clean and cozy, with a small balcony overlooking to a nice pedestrian street. We loved the vibe of the evening chats of people having fun at the restaurants. The hotel was very close to the beach. Many great restaurants were nearby. We loved the breakfast, as well.

Maybe a bit more variaty in breakfast, especially in fruits and veggies, would have been appreciated, but in overall we were satisfied. Shower cabinets were small, but also not a big issue.

This hotel is located so close to a wonderful calm little beach and a cute little city center with wonderful shops and restaurants. The beach service is reasonably priced and the view from the rooftop terrace is great. Loved the rooms and the breakfast is phenomenal.

Extremely rude restaurant staff, noisy place

Everything else, will start one by one:1- the room was located on the ground floor with the window facing 2 restaurants on the side road. Extremely noisy, forget about sleeping quietly as the outside restaurant staff and visitors stays late and a shouting conversation is normal to Italians. Hence the room is so noisy.2- the male waiter during the breakfast was extremely rude with zero manners or ethics. He doesn’t qualify at all to any hospitality role. Not a word in english, he shouted on us just because we wanted to open the curtain. He shouted again because we wanted a napkin for the breakfast. With zero knowledge of english he was shouting in Italian with us wondering what was happening. Very poor service, we had to leave the breakfast as we lost apatite due to his behavior.3- bed was so small and mattress was not comfortable

Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Very friendly with providing local Knowledge and transport tips.

Parking do cause some problems but it would appear that's just Italy in general

The staff at this hotel was super professional, friendly and always there to help. We felt very welcome.We got a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. We also had a little balcony - great in case of bad weather. In case your room has no balcony, the hotel has a terrace as well that can be used by the guests.There are a couple of very nice restaurants close by that offer excellent local cuisine. Highly recommended. The beach is also very close and we enjoyed spending time there. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again. Recommended.

The breakfast was okay, but can be best described as average. Only a small selection of veggies and fruits, and after a few days it felt quite dull. The rooms are quite badly sound-proofed: We could clearly hear both the snoring neighbour next door as well as the crying infants in rooms on the opposite side of the corridor. If you are sensitive to noise, best take earplugs with you.

Nice location only 50m from the beach, some nice bars and places to eat nearby. Good breakfast and a comfortable room for 2. We were given a free balcony upgrade which was nice.

A bit pricey for 3 star not really during the season Staff doesn’t speak English

Nice location closed to Cinque Terre. The staff is really kind and helpful.

Wifi wasn't so fast and I could hear the room next door which I don't really like.

This was a great location near the beach. The terrace to sit out in the evenings was very nice and peaceful. The breakfast had a lot of choices

We were not aware until we were checking out that we could have rented beach chairs and equipment from the hotel. it seems like the cost would have been cheaper at the hotel than the locations on the beach.

Helpful staff, good coffee, close to public transport & Bar Dasso across the street.

It’s not so much the hotel but the village it’s in. In peak summer months it’s sure to be awesome but just out of summer with bad weather it’s quite dead… also would have enjoyed some fresh fruit with the breakfast!
