Hotel Suisse

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Suisse! The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and helped us by giving excellent local recommendations. The room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable - the balcony was one of our favorite parts. The location is perfect, just a short 5-7 minute walk from the beach and main areas.

The shower is right over the toilet which only became a minor inconvenience when the water didn't completely drain and our feet got wet each time we used the toilet. A small squidgy tool would have been great to have in there just to clean up.

Surprisingly had a double bed roomEven if I paid for single bed. Room was clean and all essential and necessary things were available!The guy at the reception was very kind and helpful. He also allowed me to keep my bag there for a couple of hours the day of the departure and allowed me to change so that I could enjoy a few time by the sea before leaving

It’s 1 star so everything I could say is that it reflects that so I was not afraid to have the shower without the box or to have no fridge in the room.The only thing that could be disturbing is that every noise coming from the street or neighbours is really audible but luckily I came in a very quiet period.Would help to have a kettle in the room so that people could make instant coffee or tea at least.As said, everything was fine and I’ll certainly consider to come back whenever possible!

There is no lobby where you can seat except your room. Air conditioning working only after 19:00 pm. Room was old but clean.

It’s in the heart of Sestri levante.. not so far at the beach, and not so far at the station. Plus it’s near to center. Over all the location is very good for us.

A little bit noisy.. not inside the hotel, I mean because it’s our room is close to the street roads even the door is closed you can still still hear the sounds of all motorcycles.

Air conditioning was not anvailable after 1 am at night. The rest of the night was so hot I couldn’t sleep. The bathroom was on the other side of the hallway. Had expected a little more at this price.

Great location, just a 7-8 minute walk from to the train station and a short walk to the beach and the main shopping street.

Air conditioner was only functioning between 7:30 pm and 3:30 am. During the hot days, it was not easy to cool off after the beach when the AC was not functioning. The shower was over the floor of the bathroom / toilet so it was quite slippery and messy for most of the day.The walls were very thin and the sound insulation bad so we had a couple of nights when loud neighbours (in the room next to ours) made it impossible to sleep until early in the morning. There were only two electric outlets in the entire room— the ones on either side of the bed, for the bedside lamps.

Very basic room. Quite expensive for what you get but you pay for the location. Air conditioning was on a limited evening timer, without an alternative fan. Poor wifi connection.

the reception . They didn't answer tha bell and it was neccessary to phone them to attempt to get in

Was a cheap and nice place to stay for a few nights for a conference. Really close to the center and supermarkets.

The water in the shower takes too long to warm, however I think that's not only in the hotel, but the whole city

location was excellent. a one star hotel, so I had no expectations in terms of utilities, comfort etc, especially since I booked it as a place to crash after a full day of travel. great value for money, clean. staff was very helpful and courteous.

The 'private bathroom' was in what looked like a cupboard in the corridor opposite my room. It was a wet room. There was nowhere to put my clothes while I showered and I didn't want to walk in the corridor in just a towel. Some rooms were ensuite which I had expected mine to be , I asked to change the room but was told there wasn't another available.

The warm-water is very limited and the bathroom is extremly poor.

Leo was really helpful and kind, didn’t expect the room to be cleaned as we were stayovers, came back to the hotel pleasantly surprised

Was not very clean Rooms were very old The shower was almost on top of the toilet and had no curtain The Aircon was not allowed after 2am - during the night was an oven

Nice location and friendly staff! The receptionist let us store our luggage in the hotel after checkout, which is highly appreciated.

The aircondition only works between 7.30 pm to 1.00 pm, which leaves the room extremely hot during the night. We had to keep the balcony door open to let som fresh air in, and ended up with lots of mosquito bites. Also the street outside is very noisy. The room didn’t feel clean, and the bathroom was not very comfortable.

The reception was very kind and helpful person. the location of hotel is really close to center and the beach.

It was written that the rooms have airconditioner but it was working only between 7.30 pm and 1 am. The ventilation of toilet was not sufficient.

Staff friendly. Very basic place, but ok.
