    Pros +

    • Great location with a beautiful terrace facing the beach and the sea. Spacious room.
    • Super clean room, you could literally eat from the floor :) private beach at the Bay of Silence - and this is literally, no waves at all, very pleasant to swim. Great restaurant (for lunch/dinner): one of the best Tagliolini I’ve ever tried. Breakfast ok, but the serving of the fresh bakery was super cute
    • The cleaning staff pay utmost attention to detail, and the room was spotless. But some wear and tear was showing, like towel heaters and shower heads.

    Cons -

    • Had to queue for breakfast. The staff was very rude. And the coffee arrives after 30+ minutes after we finish eating.
    • No pool :(
    • If you book a standard room, be prepared for extra charges—towels and sunbeds cost an outrageous €40 per person, and parking isn’t included either. I ended up dragging my luggage from the free parking lot to the hotel under the hot sun. Honestly, if you’re paying separately for sunbeds, towels, and parking, it makes more sense to look for a cheaper alternative.Breakfast was disappointing: the eggs were often burnt, the variety was poor, and overall it felt lackluster. On top of that, the elevator to the standard rooms was straight out of a horror movie—no sensors, frequently malfunctioning, and half the time it didn’t even stop at the correct floor. The hotels in the Dolomites, at similar prices, set a far higher standard. Here, I couldn’t even find a fraction of the hospitality and comfort.

The beach was awesome! Staff in the reception, especially the females were very helpful.

Attitude of staff in the dining room for breakfast. We understand the hotel is fully booked and breakfast is busy, but friendlier staff will make a big difference for the overall stay in the hotel

Breakfast room /dining room was nice with view to the sea. Hotel itself was beautiful and was nicely located practically at the beach. The hotel had wonderful service(s) and eg. organized driver to pick us from the railway station.

We had a dinner at the restaurant and experience could have been better. There were some unclarity among the staff about their responsibilities. The main dish was slight disappointment.

    The location was super.

The transfer car was dirty. The restaurant staff wasn’t friendly.

The location is perfect. Restaurant fut lunch and dinner is very good but pricy.

breakfast has poor assortmentroom was poorly lit an definetely needs renovation. It is not 4 stars room - more of a 3 star quality equipment.

    Great location

Overpriced for a old hotel with no recent upgrades Grumpy old waiter in breakfast room seemed intent to take away the buffet food before breakfast time finished. One morning I asked him where had the fruit gone and he glared at me - it was 9:45am & breakfast was until 10am!!

The location could not have been better. The hotel was very interesting and charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There were some areas of the hotel that need a little TLC.

The hotel location in Sestri Levante is wonderful, on a beautiful quiet beach, that is actually called Bay of Silence. It is a little difficult to find and drive in to park our car, but the hotel had private parking ($35eu) and a valet to take and bring you your car. We didn't use our car while at the hotel for 4 days, we walked to the train for a day trip to cinque terra. The breakfasts were delicious, especially once we realized we could get eggs made to order. the rooms were comfortable. The restaurant is good but expensive, especially if you order half a langostino (160 Eu), but their pesto lasagnette is amazing! The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful!

The room was fine, but nothing extraordinary. The hotel charges $40 eu a day for the spa (nothing special) and we did not use it. The hotel should charge extra for spa services, but not to just be in the spa.

    Location is absolutely fantastic.

The staff and hotel management. Issues with sun beds and availability while you’re paying close to 400 eur/ night. The restaurant staff was quitte untrained and inexperienced. No service on the beach. They didn’t had a clue about which wine to serve e.g. The breakfast staff were even arguing amongst each other in front of the guests. Etc etc. The hotel management needs a refresher I think. On that location you could so so much more with that place and the great location.

The unique position, the sea view from the room.

    The hotel needs renewing

The location was amazing. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice for everyone. We really appreciated being picked up from the train station in the hotel shuttle. They also dropped us off at the end of our stay.

    I liked everything.

It was so idyllic. It was just a stone's throw from the fabled Ciqu Terras, but not as hectic or crowded. Walking was on level ground mostly, and the beauty was beyond belief.

There was the Anderson festival which had live music that played late into the night. The music was lovely and we enjoyed it from our balcony. The second night's music was a little too much bass beat. Thank God we had ear plugs.
