Cons -
- Location. Nothing else close by.
- The room was much smaller than I expected and the staff was not very helpful for getting us around town. When we asked them where the nearest pharmacy was, they sent us in the wrong direction. This is the first time that I have been disappointed by a property found on Booking.com
- The weather could have been better. But that is something that is beyond most of us. I didn’t care for the little wurstel sausages at breakfast - I’m a bacon guy!

I have been going to this area for 4 years and that hotel has the best outside area by far! The pool, the garden, the fact that the sunbeds on the beach are right at the hotel, no street to cross or walking...and it's included in your stay is just unbearable. Everything is very organised and clean on the beach area.
Our hotel room was a bit dated and tired, smelled " old" . I booked a room which wasn't overlooking the sea but I didn't know that the street was going to be that busy so we had quite a bit of road noise in the morning.
Pools is nice only problem they close pool at 6 pm,,best time to go swim and have fun,,,
Pool closed at 6pm,,to big waves, you can swim after 6 pm,,best time to have fun
Location. It’s right on the beach.
The unexpected formal dinner show that we were only told about about a week before we arrived (so no time to rebook a similar accommodation at the same price). It closed all the restaurants at the hotel and the pool and beach early. Plus loud music late at night
Restaurant services were good.
Most of the front desk staff were not that friendly. The photo's online were a bit deceiving. We did not realize it was in such a city area.
Clean, well maintained, nicely renovated, great beach and wonderful pool. Three enjoyable restaurants and cuisines. Very helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful plants and palm trees. Free bus pass and the no cost of beach lounge chairs and towels are a plus!
A little farther from center of Savona than ideal but the free bus stops at the hotel very regularly and is quick to reach all points of interest. The sea ship platform a thousand meters from the beach is not ideal but the other amenities and conditions compensate for it.
Beach access perfect. Very clean. Excellent restaurants
The distribution of sun beds was strange but it wouldnt stop from coming backIt’s a bit away from the center for those who like to go in the evenings and dont have cars. Just sth to consider
A great location on the seaside. Comfy beds, quiet area, amazing breakfast and very attentive staff. Access to a private beach and a small pool. They also had a kiosk with finger food and granita on the beach.
Breakfast and terrace
Bit outdated room, spooky hallways
We occasionally found ourselves in the city as our car was broken on the way. The people at the reception were very welcoming and assisted us with staying in contact with car service station. Thanks again for this. The hotel has its small beach and 3 restaurants. The location is pretty. The bus stop to the city center is right in front of the hotel entrance. Our room was small but clean with a comfortable bed and a small balcony.
If you room looks at the street it could be quite noisy at night. So I would recommend to take the see view room.
Sarah (sp?) And the professional multi lingual reception team welcomed us,and arranged a transfer to the cruise port.Outstanding buffet breakfast in a delightful setting, simona and team ensured that everything was continually topped up and the cappuccinos kept flowing! Gorgeous views from the sea facing rooms.A delightful hotel.
close to the city center close to the sea really good breakfast comfortable room
A very nice Place. stunning view from balcony. Sunrise side. Great beautiful Garden with direct beach access. Restaurant amazing. Sushi might feel expensive and it is. But ?
Location on the water and beach.
Even though off season, would have liked to use lounge chair on the beach to read and be by the water more comfortably.
Breakfast choice was excellent, room was spacious, bathroom was very good.
Evening restaurant menu was same all 5 nights (although the food was of high quality)
Right on the beach
One of the hotel bistro staff members was extremely arrogant. He was really annoyed that we didn’t have a reservation, even though a third of the restaurant was empty. He even started lecturing my eight-month-pregnant wife with a really bad attitude, emphasizing that this bistro is not a hotel restaurant and that it is very special, insisting that we cannot just come and eat here whenever we want.
The hotel is right on the beach and it is possible to walk the couple of kilometers into Savona along the sand. The room was spacious and comfortable, if a little dated. The breakfast was very good. The hotel has easy access to the motorway.
The hotel is advertised as having 3 restaurants and a sea view terrace. We arrived on a Wednesday and only the high-end, and very expensive, "A Spurcacciun-a" restaurant was open, along with the "Sushi Beach" restaurant. Not wanting to spend upward of €250 for dinner for two, and not being a fan of sushi, we walked about 20 minutes to find an open pizzeria. On the Thursday we wanted to get lunch at the hotel, however once again only the expensive option was open. We decided to settle for a picnic in our room, but first something to drink at the sea view terrace. Access to the terrace is through the restaurant, and it seemed to be a problem that I wanted to get a drink outside while the restaurant was serving lunch. I was told in a not so friendly way that it would take some minutes for someone to come to serve me. After a while I gave up waiting, so no lunch and no drink by the beach. On the Thursday evening the "Bistro" restaurant was open, and this was fine. The cleaning staff were very friendly. As for the other staff, I would say only passable. I read another reviewer who said they felt like a 2nd class citizen at the hotel, and I could definitely relate to this.
