About
This hotel is set in a traditional noble house in the center of Jerez, surrounded by 13 ft² of gardens. Located just off Plaza del Caballo, the Villa Jerez is within walking distance of most of the important monuments of this sunny Andalusian city, enjoying a meal in the hotel’s restaurant or cafeteria. In the area surrounding the hotel you will see plenty of evidence of the city’s rich cultural heritage. Jerez is mostly famous for 3 things: horses, flamenco and wine. A visit to one of the local wine cellars is a must.

Cons -
- Poor breakfastSmall Tv
- Everything was exceptional.
- The breakfast was not 5 star - very mediocre. The room was not very clean, dead flies on the floor for 3 night duration stay. Drain smell in lift at all times and sometimes in the room. Swimming pool not heated. The property is generally very dated and could do with an upgrade to make it 5 star! I am sure when it was built it was a lovely building, but unfortunately in my opinion it has been neglected.

Liked the garden & our bedroom Disliked the dining room/breakfast area
It was secure and safe - electric gates.

Beautiful house with lovely staff. Very boutique feel and personal touch
Late access was difficult due to jet cards not really working. A double bed would have been nicer but it is Jerez and we're well used to that. Really nice though and we will certainly return.
The dinner was poor quality and the breakfast was shockingly bad - a machine for coffee totally awful and unbelievable, stale croissants, packet ham, dry cheese, packets of butter..... We can't imagine how a hotel can believe this poor quality is acceptable - we don't think we have ever had such a bad experience before. We had booked and pre paid for 3 nights but left after one. It was too depressing to stay longer. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and kind but the hotel management need to consider carefully and urgently how they should improve. The bedroom was large but had no comforts or pleasant furnishings, the bathroom cold and unpleasant. Altogether it was a most disappointing experience staying in this hotel and actually quite upsetting - we cannot find a good thing to recommend it apart from the pleasant staff.
As above
Excellent welcome and very friendly staff. This hotel is very comfortable and has an excellent restaurant.
The location was prefect and the hotel was excellentThe staff were incrediblyFriendly and helpful The hotel day manager Reyes had spotted it was my birthday and at breakfast gave me a birthday cake from the hotelNever had such excellent and exemplary service in a hotel beforeMuch appreciated
Good location, quiet, but walking distance to centre.Small and intimate hotel.Private parking.Large spacious room with efficient aircon, very comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath, dressing gown/slippers, coffee machine/kettle, water etc..
Rooms a bit dated. Been staying at this hotel for approx 20 years and decor doesn’t appear to have changed!
Everything! Hotel is peaceful and quiet, and staff were amazing. So pleasant and helpful. Rooms are amazing and beds so comfy.
Welcome at check in was very warm and friendly. Room was outstanding in terms of size, comfort, quality of appointment and value. The service and the ambience for meals at the restaurant and outside were excellent too. Food was lovely. Staff everywhere were friendly and most helpful. Although not located in the old town centre the hotel was excellent and we would stay there again.
The hotel had the wow factor on arrival as we drove through the gates. Great welcome by reception staff and welcome sherry. Beautiful downstairs communal spaces. Our room was stunning. Massive bedroom and bathroom plus a sitting room leading to garden view terrace. Pool area very quiet, clean and relaxing. Breakfast was good. Nothing amazing and felt a bit rushed by staff. Food at lunchtime was very good. Drink and food very well priced. Well located for the city centre around 6 euros in a taxi. Taxi ordered by reception arrived always within 5 minutes. Beautiful city to visit
I think the main thing that let the hotel down was service around the pool and for lunch. Every time we wanted a drink while round the pool we had to go inside and try and find someone or go to reception yo ask for someone to serve us. Would be easier if one of the waiters came out to the pool occasionally to ask if anyone wanted anything. One particular member of staff was rude right from the start to us and made it quite uncomfortable when she served us. Slamming menus on the table. We had only asked if she could serve us!!! We were the only people waiting on the terrace for lunch. Another disappointment was that on the last evening we had prebooked evening dinner on the main terrace. When we went down for dinner told that there were no tables so we ended up eating on the breakfast terrace over looking the pool. No one else there so no atmosphere. Put a dampner on the last nite. We had the impression that there were some kind of wellness facilities at the hotel and we were intending to have a treatment of some kind. There wasnt this facility just a hairdresser I believe but never saw signs for that. The hotel is very tranquil but there isnt a lot of atmosphere around the pool if u want that. One day we had it virtually to ourselves.
The service from everyone from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was outstanding Theroom was super with a lounge and large bedroom Everything you could want
Staff we excellent, very helpful. They let us leave the car at the hotel for 24 hours whilst we did a day trip to Cadiz.
Breakfast was perhaps a little limited and lunch wasn’t great value/quality in comparison to a restaurant/ tapas .
Staff were wonderful . Restaurant - one of the best we ate in . Very relaxing venue.
Floor needed cleaning - but was sorted instantly. Maybe a bit dated in decor.
Large comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Lovely garden and terrace. Very helpful receptionist offered guidance on where to go in city. Staff friendly and waiter had good English. Breakfast on patio by pool Pudding at dinner was excellent, chocolate couland with ice cream!
Air freshener pumping out everywhere. We booked to have half board, but didn't realise we would have a restricted menu for dinner. 3 courses but main course not hot and one sent back to be reheated. Pork medallions OK but some pieces very pink. Fish dish was tasteless.
This is the third time we have stayed at Villa Jerez and each time has been an absolute pleasure. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was, as before, a good size, very clean and the beds enormous. We were very happy with breakfasts which offered a wide variety of hot and cold dishes. These we ate in the beautiful terraced area close to the pool. We also enjoyed eating our evening meal on the terrace and were more than happy with what was on offer.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, that's why we come back. It's a little gem.
Fabulous Hotel. Excellent service from the staff. Beautiful pool and gardens. Excellent food.
Size of the bedroom, Garden and pool
Breakfast slightly dissapointing
