Well designed and managed. Excellent food. Room was exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed. Staff very professional.

Pool was a bit far from the room.

You had to walk to nearby hotel for breakfast and bar. 5 minute walk. Hotel was in need of some renovation.

There are two main buildings, one with all the facilities, the second we stayed in , no decent views, and few hundred meters from the main hotel, which had all the lounges, eating áreas. We had to walk to that area every time…

We upgraded to a Jr suite as the room they allocated did not face the golf course. Definitely don’t book the Cottages . As our friends found them run down and isolated. The staff were great from Proshop , service at breakfast,dinner and room service was great . Housekeeping was very good , pool indoor was great as well as spa . Very helpful concierge to book Taxi .

Not very helpful at the reception, language may be the issue . Once you get your point across, they try to resolve the issue .

Quiet and comfortable we visit the Montecastillo several times a year.

Food could be better. The bar food is always fresh and staff helpful.

False advertising

The floor was dirty scattered with black soot on the corners of each room. The terrace still had food on the deck chairs. Pomegranate seeds to be exact. The windows had mold on them. The door was creaking. The bathroom walls had all sorts of crack in them which is probably the reason for the dirt as this room needs an upgrade desperatelyThe ceiling spot light popped out of its socket the moment we entered the room.When ordering a margarita pizza it was clearly frozen from the box as it was rock solid and pitiful.

The pool area is nice as is the spa. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

I would not recommend staying in the second building up the hill. Even though the building was almost empty, we could not have an early check-in. The facilities in this building as also not as nice as in the main building. The value for money is not there.

The hotel was closed. So...we don't know..

When we arrived at the hotel, it was closed and there was a sign on the door that we needed to go to a neighboring hotel. The hotel did not inform us that the hotel will not functioning. At the reception of another hotel, the employee said that the hotel should not inform about this. How is this possible? We had to look other hotel and with luggage it was not easy. This is no respect for guests!

Nice hotel with amazing views next to the golf course. The staff was super helpful, and our daughter loved the children's club. Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking space.

Room was good size for three adults, the spa was great, the food was delicious and nice variety overall a great long weekend.

Booked 4* but were upgraded at no charge to 5*. Super peaceful hotel at the golf course,plenty of free parking, Wonderful lobby and restaurant. Excellent choice of food.

Opening hours of pools are not acceptable for a 5* hotel. Lots of children at the generally accessible pool making pretty much noise.

Excellent breakfast especially the smoothie corner. Very spacious and comfortable room. Reception staff were very helpful. Beautiful grounds and pool area.

The Breakfast was really good. The staff was friendly at check in.

We arrived at the booked hotel and were told that the reservation was moved to the Golf Hotel next door. We picked the hotel to get some time in the Spa but unfortunately it was not included in the price. It is 23€ p.P. and it's not worth the price at all. The bed sheets had dark stains when we arrived in the room. The room itself is pretty run down. Also you can hear through the walls and doors easily. The hotel was pretty loud and noisy in the late evening.

Wow, Montecastillo is very beautifully set in peaceful surroundings. Everything is maticulously maintained to a very high standard.The bar staff were brilliant, exceptional customer service at all times.

Nice and tranquil surroundings, room was fine and clean.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

Some of the villas need decorative attention on the outside. The lighting around the grounds wasn't on when it was dark
