Pros +
- Updated/renovated comfortable room. Great location. Great value
- Lovely Location and Town
- nothing!
Cons -
- It is not common for European Hotels to have Aircon ... I understand. Aircon would have made the room more comfortable. By sleeping with the window open (had to) the street noise was a bit much.
- First of all, this is not a hotel (!!) but a shabby motel. The rooms open directly onto the corridor. With no air conditioning, you have to keep the windows open for some air circulation — which means everyone walking past can see straight into your room. Zero privacy! The bathroom is tiny, the beds are sagging and uncomfortable, and in summer they give you a thick duvet to sleep with (seriously?). The night was truly miserable: with the window open, we could hear everything — cars passing by, people talking in the street at 3 a.m., the garbage truck at 5, seagulls (!!) at 5:30, and guests coming and going from 7 onwards. And wifi was not working well! For €180 a night, this was money very badly spent. For me, it's a "stay away" and never get back.
- Parking directly at the hotel is very limited. But the staff directed guest to all the parking options around - which were not more than 5 minutes by foot.

It is conveniently located in a small, quiet town. And offers a nice base to see the landing beaches and sights in the area. The hotel is clean and the staff was very nice. We especially appreciated the 5 person room. Breakfast was really good.

Beds comfortable
Nowhere to park, Internet can only be used in breakfast room, was told it had been cut off to all rooms, breakfast itself was disgusting, bread cheese yoghurt, thats your lot, avoid at all costs
Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.
The TV wasn't working.
Small but cosy room. Very close to the city centre and all restaurants. Good breakfast, although the breakfast room can be crowded.
Parking at the hotel is very limited, but you can park at the pier or on the other side of the river (200 meter walk).
Breakfast was good and the location was great apart from the hotel only having 4 car park spaces.
Size of the room was small, very dark, window looked out onto a scruffy roof. No air conditioning, asked for a fan which the hotel didn’t have. The rooms definitely need updating, very cheaply done.Husbands mobile phone was left in the room on departure, hotel said they would post to home address which they didn’t!
Good sized double room with excellent shower.Central location for Port-en-Bessin, with many restaurants and bars on hand. They reserved parking for us which was excellent and the male receptionist was very helpful. Will return again.
I was able to park close to the entrance each day.The central location meant all shops and restaurants were only a very short walk away.Bayeax and the D-Day beaches are close by.
Clean and spacious, great location.
There was no disabled faculties available.
Clean and simple easy walk from the harbour where everything happens.
No parking space had to park at the quayside. Free though.
Good choice of breakfast. Beautiful room. Nice little area to walk around
The parking. Hardly anywhere to park. Our tv in the bedroom didn't worked at all.
The location with the bars and restaurants nearby was excellent and the location for exploring the D Day beaches etc was ideal.
The parking was a bit of an issue with local roads being closed during our stay.
A simple hotel that fitted our requirements perfectly. Super comfortable beds, hot water/shower, excellent location easy to book in and out - perfect combination
Could not leave the windows open as it was easy for some to get in and it was hot evenings
It was in a great location and there were plenty of small restaurants around the hotel and free car parks
The shower was broken and the walls were really thin so you could hear everything outside of your room. Definitely no sound proofing. Guests walk past your room outside and you can hear every word even when they whisper. Also no air con so was really hot.
the parking in front of the hotel and the location in the town
The shower, there was no ventilation at all and as such after showering the bathroom stayed wet forever. The humidity due to a lack of ventilation. The smell in the room, don't know whether it was due to the humidity or the cleaning material being used. The beds, the inside springs of the damp sagging matras were poking in our backthe flooring, the carpet was feeling horrible to the bare feet.Being intrigued why the score for the hotel deviated som much from our experience, I found out that the rooms facing the garden will be renovated later this year. To be honest these should not be put up for booking.
Room was clean
Accessibility wasn’t great, wooden steps leading to room were in poor condition, also family of six only given 2 bath towels. Also no parking for hotel guests
Good value group accommodation in the centre of a wonderful little fishing town. We have stayed here 8 times so far as a group of British bikers, always accommodating when we turn up with a big group of motorbike. Lots of bars and places to eat within walking distance. Always a lovely stay.
Bathroom was a complete mess. Toilet seat broken, bad smell and no shower door/curtain. Bath/shower was also very dirty
