Pros +
- Perfect location in between all sites! The pool was a great option after a day of site-seeing. Incredible breakfast/restaurant and helpful staff.
- The hotel, grounds and restaurant were lovely. It was a great location for the Omaha Beach sights.
- Very friendly staff and a nice outlook from our room
Cons -
- The shower was about a foot off the ground. The door was so narrow, I didn't dare try to squeeze through it. The room was tiny for two people.
- Our bill had a lot of added drinks and plates of food on it that we didn't have. This was rectified but it meant we started a very long journey 20 minutes late. Also, the bar outside didn't have any parasols.
- We requested a good sized room with twin beds as my wife has bad insomnia and we wanted a bit more room. We arrived after a 6.5 hour journey through France to find the staff had given our room to someone else and only a very small room on the ground floor was available. We found the room clostraohobic and weee kept awake all night by plumping noises from the bathroom form other bedrooms? We feel we are due a partial refund as we did not get the room we paid for. I took this up with the hotel again rush morning but nothing was conclusive. Can you help please?

Nice surroundings

Lovely place. Light and airy. Rooms spacious with plenty of electrical ports.
The restaurant was a bit slow.
Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was great in a nice setting with beautiful views.
Location good. Breakfast very good and staff were friendly and helpful
Quiet, clean and great setting.
Pool cues warped and unusable. No tip on one cue. There should be no smoking allowed on the outside terrace as it prevented us from us from using our balcony.
The staff were very accommodating, the layout was very good, the food was fantastic and the location to the d day beaches was convenient.
One lane roads near the property are difficult to navigate.
Great location, beautiful hotel and surrounding
Bathroom very disappointing. Shower unit needs repaired. Very dated bathroom. Seemed to be some leak as after shower the carpet in bedroom seemed wet. Great place but does need updating.
Staff were all friendly and smiling, which was good. The sauna was started for us which was excellent, we got a good chance to warm up,weather was stormy and snowing Food in the restaurant was good nice selection, breakfast was excellent with large choiceRoom was large had bath
Room was cold, took ages to warm up,heater not very effective Hot drinks weren't hot,and hot water for tea at breakfast wasn't hot, from a coffee machine.got hot water from staff after asking
Spacious room, quiet and private, clean, friendly staff, breakfast was very good!
Nothing that we didn't like.
Great location central to all the beaches and sites
It’s a bit tired now and for me is more of a 3* hotel with 4* prices
Great staff. Gave us very good advice about where to travel for Normandy sites. Clean rooms. Centrally located. Great breakfast.
We loved the amenities and the location so close for day trips to the war memorials.
The restaurant- for a hotel of this size we wished you had more to offer for dinner. After being in holiday for two weeks and eating in restaurants we really wanted a simple green salad. It was available- just a Caesar salad ( which I ordered) but it only came with fried chicken fingers, which were not very good. Grilled chicken was not an available, which surprised me. We ate in town after that.
Reception was very good and we were expected. Room was clean and comfortable, and shower was very good. Room service excellent. General cleanliness very good, and location FOR GOLF excellent, but for visitors not good as so far out of town.We were allocated a room on the first floor of a separate block, accessed only by external wooden stairs. This is no good for us, and we asked about an elevator. There was none, but reception changed our room immediately and found us one in the same block on ground level. Very grateful for their swift and easy solution to our problem. Thanks to them both!Breakfast times and large menu very good and fresh.
Lack of elevators, spaced out accommodation, restaurant poor and cold. Choice of menu restricted and waiting staff seemed not enthused by their work.Restaurant is enormous and was never more than quarter full. No warm atmosphere in it either. Disappointed that the whole was not in one block: accommodation, bar and restaurant all together with elevators!Car parking on a slope outside our accommodation block.
The property was a little out of the way but was perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful , breakfast was amazing
It was comfortable and nice and close to all attractions. Staff very helpful and friendly
Restaurant was average
Breakfast is good, staffs are nice, place is easy to find, parking is big enough and just a few meters away. The shampoo and handwash is high quality and they smells good. I don't have other thing to like because to finish this review I have to write this long. See what I don't like below.
The bed is over used, not confortable at all. Should have been replaced long ago. Hard to believe it's a 4-star hotel.Diner at the restaurant is not great, too much wait time, the fish has no taste.
Breakfast was N/A as we went elsewhere in lue of 20 euro per person per day. The room was clean and the staff were friendly
The hotel is in severe disrepair, broken doors, broken locks, paint peeling, missing caulk in showers, and severely unstable shower floors due to improper installation. The room smelt like burning plastic, but that went away with the porch door open for 20 minutes or so.
