- • Pool with slides for children• Tasty food, but almost the same every day• Cleanliness in the rooms• Beach nearby, but with stones at the entrance
- It's our 5 consecutive stay at Alexandros Palace and we keep coming back for more. I particularly enjoy the breakfast buffet, the variety and freshness of everything just makes me want to eat more than I physically can, but it's worth it and my partner agrees. The taverna wasn't open yet for the season, but we absolutely loved the beach bar grill, very fresh food and generous portions. Great coffee by Vangelis and overall friendly staff at the bars, the restaurant and the reception. We were celebrating an anniversary and the Chef was happy to make a cake for us, really nice of them. p.s. I wish I was 10 so I could also enjoy the Splash Park, the kids there looked thrilledp.s 2 We opted for a Spa visit instead, money well spent!
- These are the last days of the summer season accompanied with beautiful sunny weather and sea still warm enough for a good swimm. The hotel is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, clean rooms and facilities. Will definitely bring my family next summer!
Cons -
- • Lack of entertainment/animation • Does not look like a 5* hotel, in some areas it seems neglected (August)• Deserts was the same every day
- The hotel needs renovation because it does not deserve 5 stars at this state. The room we had was just above reception desk and I suppose it is the oldest building in the hotel. The terrace has wood railings that are old and need to be repaired and painted. The view from the terrace was beautiful but we couldn’t enjoy it because there were birds there all the time and the terrace was littered by them constantly. There was really bad odor from the bathroom which was fixed when it was reported. It was a quick fix by adding plastic on top of the drain but it worked. The food at dinner was not very tasty.
- We had breakfast and dinner in our package. It was very strange that there were no drinks at dinner, not even water from cooler. And we were not allowed to bring in our water which was purchased at the hotel. No proper place for lunch, only beach bar, nothing around the hotel too. Gym was very poorly kept, old equipment, and gym room very dirty with no air conditioner.

We had a room that was nicely located near the restaurant and the beach. The kids liked the pool and the beach was nice. The hotelIs located across Ammouliani island and it is convenient to rent a boat and spend a day exploring it. The staff at reception and the bar was polite, but the restaurant was understaffed and couldn’t manage the orders of drinks at dinner.

Room was very nice, specious and clean. Beach is beautiful, very friendly stuff. We also loved massage in the hotel spa.

Nice rooms, great views. Clean and spacious. Quiet rooms. Excellent wifi throughout all areas. Big pools. Friendly staff.
The place claims to be a five star however the food is far off from being five star. All quite bland and caters for the masses lacking alot on quality over quantity. Alot of ameneties are old and tatty. Pool bars lack alot of options and food. The pool restaurant was closed in the bang of summer hence nothing available to eat. Beach towels are at a cost. Considering prices paid we would have expected for these to have been included as all other hotels do. Have never been charged for beach towels at any hotel. Reception area is quite old also and not very welcoming. Lacks light.
Clean and big rooms, helpfully and polite staff, peaceful environment with beautiful view, great beach and pool.
Variety of the food was very limited. Everyday more less the sane things. Would be better if they served more options.
My issue with this hotel is simple. We booked a Familiy Suite with Ocean View, which is one of the more expensive rooms. We were supposed to get AC & Wifi in all spaces. The AC did not work at all the first night. They "fixed" the AC for the remaining nights but it was some kind of centralized AC system and it was weak and did not work well at all during the night time. We woke up every night sweating unable to get quality sleep. The same issue was in the restaurant where we ate breakfast and dinner. You were soaking wet every night and the restaurant manager would dismiss any attempts on turning up/on the AC and blamed it on the warm weather outside. We did not have any wifi signal either, so we had to spend 40 euros on private subscription packages to cover for that. I tried to contact the hotel manager to get a partial refund for my inconvenience but he is in hiding. I'm still waiting for his call. There are other things that disturbed me as well, like not having any options for lunch at the hotel, you needed to go to the beach if you wanted to eat. The hotel has a fast food restaurant there, you have no other options. Good beach/ocean and pool areas to say something positive.
Food was badNo ACNo Wifi in the hotel roomNo lunch for the kids other than at the beachNo Hotel manager in sights..
Staff is so friendly. Vaggilis at the beach bar is so helpful and foods he serves are delicious.
Too much walk in the hotel. Maybe buggy can help.
The room was spacious and clean, suitable for 2 adults & 2 children. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Although the beach is decent, we didn’t like that is wasn’t clean. The guests are disrespectful of the hotel’s instructions for parking and every day some cars were inside of non-parking zone, basically in front of the rooms, which was NO GO for us.The restaurant and food is average. Surprisingly, the fruits and veggies weren’t tasty at all.
Location of the hotel is nice, it has private beach with calm and clear water, like in the pool. Beach bar is nice as well. We got room upgrade to sea view and that was great. Room was very nice and view was beautiful. All staff members are very polite and everything was clean.
Hotel is overcrowded and infrastructure can not withstand that. The feeling was like there were twice the people it can whitstand. But, the restaurant was the biggest problem. Food quality is far bellow the hotel rating in both terms of choice and way of preparation. And it is extremly overcrowded, you feel like you need to fight for some food with other guests.
The room was comfy. The space in the shower was a little small. The beach was very nice, but with a lot of rocks in the water. The food was good.
There where too few activities for kids. The playground is old and needs a lot of improvements.
Very nice hotel, large rooms, good food, nice beach (although with peebles at shore), big pools.
At lunch the only option was to go to the beach bar, where some food was served (fast food). On their leaflet I saw a tavern was supposed to be there, but it wasn't. Didn't bother us too much, we looked for food there just in one day. The othe thing that I didn't like was the bed I was sleeping in, în the lobby, very unconfortable.
It was clean, and the stuff was friendly.
The food is questionable, lack of choice and rotten vegetables and fruits we noticed every day. Basically the food is only really bad thing, everything else was pretty much fine?
Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice staff. The beach and the proximity of the ferry that takes you to the nearby Ammouliani island (must see) and its beautiful beaches.
The food could have been a bit better in my opinion. While understand that the hotel buffet has its limitations in general, think they can try to provide a bit more variety in their daily.
The location is really nice. It was busy but even with that many people there you have your space on the beach. The room we stayed in was nice size and location not loud at all. We stayed at the sea view room. The food was amazing with a lot of options especially for dinner. There is a lot of parking which is free of charge.Overall i would love to come back and i would recommend it to anyone. Our experience was 10 out of 10.
During dinner there is one staff member ( a young girl) who often stays in the way between food and guests. Couple of times it was not possible for guests to move as she does not pay attention to anyone or anything around her. In my case she dropped the spoon inside the sauce container ( accidently) sprayed my dress and face, all i would have loved is for her to look at me and say sorry. She did not even look at me at all even though she did see what she did. I have a background in hospitality and i know accidents do happen, just a little sorry would be nice. Its not a big deal but I just wanted to point that out.
We liked the beach, the athmosphere in the hotel
The pictures didn't Illustrated the hotel correctly. Lots of climbs and discomfort to get to the room. The dining room staff is mostly unpleasant and unwelcoming. The dining room lacked fish and tuna, we really felt that there was a lack of variety
Hotel is situated perfectly and a lot of the rooms have view of the sea side. Rooms were very comfortable with air conditioning. Great shower Beds very comfortable and blackout curtains. Breakfast A+++Dinner - plenty of choice to please even my fussy child Staff - always polite and happy to help
Loved everything Would be happy to revisit soon
Staff was friendly and trying to help/solve our issues, not their fault.Made an exception for us, after escalation, and had organized food delivered to our room once.
A lot of misunderstandings for a "five star hotel". There was no bellboy or just somebody to greet you, guide you to the room and help with the luggage. A very surprising fact was the lack of mosquito nets in the whole complex, unacceptable for the hotel category having in mind that the area is well-known for having plenty of those insects. Another inconvenience for us was the central AC in the suite which could not be set/controlled individually for each room, but only one mode blowing out everywhere. In our case, to avoid AC for our baby in bedroom 2, we had to turn off AC everywhere and sleep in 30 C with closed doors, because of the lack of mosquito nets....a nightmare! What's more, we wanted to have normal a la carte lunch, tasty seafood as shown on the hotel website, but the restaurant Elia was not open and we were not given any proper explanation why and until when, neither was that announced on the hotel website.. And simply because only the buffet restaurant was working, there was no option for us to order a la carte food to the room... and room service was not available.Paying deposit to get key for the safety deposit box in your room sounds ridiculous nowadays!? We didn't want anything for free, we just wanted to spend money, but the service was missing!
good location, good food ,clean new rooms ,nice program entertainment
