Pros +
- Conveniently located near Huelva (perfect overnight stopover with a car on the way to/from Seville), such a magnificent building with tastefully decorated rooms. Excellent dinner & breakfast.
- Inner courtyard was very pleasant to sit and have a drink.
- An imposing country house set on a hill with wonderful views of the surrounding area. Nothing really in walking distance so you need a car. Very close to Huelva but with a rural feel. We liked the internal covered patio where we had dinner and drinks. The breakfast was very good with a choice of hot and cold items. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We would choose this hotel again on our next visit to Huelva.
Cons -
- A tour group almost ruined our experience.
- Restaurant - service was good, food was disappointing. No coffee and tea making facilities in the room.
- The only minor thing for us was noise from the adjoining rooms. We could hear conversations from next door. But it didn’t disturb our sleep, for example.

Convenient location (for transiting through Spain to Portugal as we were)Beautiful building. Comfy beds. Decent sized room.
Nothing. We didn't have any food so can't comment on how good or bad it it is.
Sylvia was fantastic sorting a mix up with our booking, thank you. The location was great, clean comfortable rooms, good food and excellent value for money.
Being picky we would have liked tea making facilities in the room
Wonderful staff. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast.
Great welcome by the staff.Excellent evening meal and a good breakfast.
Very kind staff, I had a very warm welcome, including a very late dinner, and I got great recommendations from Silvia and the rest of the staff. The Patio and the restaurant are wonderful.
The window of my room (number 21) needs fixing.
Excellent check in lady that spoke English and was very friendly and efficient. The room is traditional in presentation but comfortable. There is warm additional bedding in the wardrobe, water in the fridge and a tv hidden in the tallboy. The dinner waitress was totally charming and the food portions enormous. The inner courtyard is beautiful for a drink and you can also have a dinner table there in preference to the restaurant. This was an excellent hotel for our one night stay en route to Cadiz from northern Portugal. Due to the location there is little reason to stay longer.
The over bath shower was hazardous and the water temperature temperamental.
Beautiful place
Room freezing. Had to change room. No toilet paper. Couldn't get anything to eat although the cafe bar was supposed to be open
It's a beautiful Hacienda about 10 minutes drive away from Huelva. Good food but limited menu.
The bathroom was extremely small and as I have hip problems, with the fixed shower glass I had difficulty getting in and out of the bath when taking a shower. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Very limited evening menu unless you like pizza or burgers. Needed more pillowsWould have been good to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for women to apply makeup.
Very grand period Spanish hacienda renovated into a hotel with lovely comfortable rooms designed in a classic style. The grounds are very spacious and lovely. It has also a lovely pool area ( which unfortunately was closed in October) It is a little out of the way from Huelva so if you haven't a car it could be a little tricky. The buffet breakfast is simple but decent with plenty of choice.
Unfortunately we didn't like the food in the restaurant it was very poor quality and not tasty.
Everything was exceptionally good except for the noise insulation in this classic and super charming Hacienda style Hotel. The doors to the patio hallway and to the next room lack insulation. And the motorway is a bit close, so it depends on which side of the Hotel you have your room. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. I would always book this very special hotel and place again! Very Andalusian and in a way romantic grandeur of the region it represents.
Noise insulation...
Beautiful, characterful building in peaceful area, Huelva, easily accessible. Friendly and accommodating staff. Huge balcony and lovely grounds with swimming pool. Excellent restaurant.
Beautiful building. Lovely staff, excellent value for money, and super quality dining at very affordable prices. Highly recommended.
Setting on Kop outside Huelva with superb viewsDelicious evening mealTake in 3 pools in the warmth of the evening sun overlooking the distant Atlantic sea
Room 22 has no view - just a white wall Breakfast was confusing .
Beautiful hacienda property with wonderful tree lined driveway. Furnishings and decoration wonderfully Spanish. Dining very elegant inside courtyard style area. Breakfast very nice
So spacious. Very neat and upmarket. It is so clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are exceptional. Loved the swimming pools and jacuzzi without the touristy noise of many people. Great restuarant. So relaxing, modern and clean. I just had to bring my wife here to enjoy. Will be back soon as we can.
The room was air conditioned.
The property is dog friendly but the fees per dog are a bit high. I had the general feeling they were reluctant to allow dogs. There was a nice social area in the central patio were dogs were allowed. But in the restaurant itself which is on the same patio space 2 meters from where dogs are allowed, dogs were only allowed if the other diners were okay with that. This doesn’t work, how is a diner with dogs allowed to come into the hotel, able to manage this? Should they go around asking other diners? You need to have a policy as a hotel for that not to put the task onto the guest. Its not respectful of dog owners.
Nice room size, very clean, very good pools, cool ambient
