Dirty in gap
We arrived at 9.55pm no staff door locked a guest let us in... room dated and dirty bath big enough for a midget im not kidding...cobwebs everywhere no milk for the coffee bed was almost on the floor dare not look underneath to see what horrors lurked..in general dirty and dated breakfast was just ok for £9 i would not choose again

Wallpaper hanging off the walls.Velux window above the bed broken and impossible to use. That was the only window .. no promised mountain view. Wardrobe door would not close. Only two very small and threadbare towels supplied. Carpets tired and not very clean. The whole place was in need of a complete refurbishment Recommended restaurant nearby was not good and expensive .
Great location with parking if you're doing the Route Napoleon as we were although there is no secure parking but the hotel is in a quiet residential area. The staff allowed us to park the bike right next to reception.A 20-35 min stroll in Gap centre with it's restaurants and bars. Couple of restaurant closer if you don't want the walk.The rooms were dated but clean and comfortable breakfast was good and included in our rate.
No Air Conditioning room was warm.

Breakfast was poor, not enough selection.The bathroom shower was in wrong position, bath it was over was creaky and didn’t feel secure.
The hotel is far from "charming" but absolutely OK. Situated in a not very charming area. But OK. (If you do not mind not seeing the alps.) Breakfast is fine, but no local cheese. Nearby "Le Refuge" is an excellent restaurant serving local food (better to reserve a table), not expensive.

Excellent value for money. Staff were really friendly. Hotel has a nice outside terrace area for drinks and breakfast. The hotel owners have their own restaurant about 5 minutes away which looked really nice, but we really enjoyed the Pizza Restaurant just down the road. If staying in Gap again I would definitely stay here :-)
The hotel manager went out of her way to accommodate us, even suggesting that we park our motorbikes right outside the entrance so that they would be safe. Also her dinner recommendation was superb.
