Hotel Sokoline

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Sokoline. The setting was breathtaking, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the warm, attentive staff who went above and beyond at every moment. The on-site restaurant was exceptional—every meal felt like a highlight, with fantastic flavors and stunning views to match. Hotel Sokoline exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return.

Best views and best breakfast on our whole trip around the balkans — it’s amazing and worth the drive up the hill. Room was huge and clean. Staff was super friendly to our kids. Breakfast is truly incredible. Fantastic spot, we’re so glad we went here!

Excellent staff. Location and view are fantastic, Very clean and exceptionally well maintained 8-unit hotel. Each room has a view patio. The restaurant was very good with an excellent breakfast. One of the nicest and best places I found in Montenegro for location, cleanliness, staff, and value. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to any of my friends traveling to Montenegro

I was in room 8 which had a bright light outside (but not sure if the other rooms had that too) which I couldn't keep the curtain open at night to enjoy the view of the valley below. However, drawing the curtain closed made the room perfectly dark.

There is a breathtaking view from both the apartment's terrace and the restaurant. Breakfast was very delicious and although there were only a few options, they were excellent. The breakfast was excellent in every way. They served us fresh organic juices. Since we arrived late, the restaurant staff stayed on for a little while after closing time to serve us dinner, and they were very helpful and friendly. We had some delicious local barbecue dishes for dinner. It was fantastic. There is also on-site parking.

This hotel is really close to Ostrog Monastery. It is really high up and you need to drive way, way up to get to it. It is literally located in the middle of nowhere with the most insane, gorgeous views! The room is clean and quite basic but the balcony offers the most wonderful views. The hotel offers dinner (as there is literally no where to go) and breakfast in the morning. The dinner menu was fabulous and breakfast was great! We were there in the summer and we sat outside and ate watching the sunset during dinner. It was beautiful.The restaurants served the most delicous seeded bread!!!! Overall a wonderful hotel but there is absolutely nothing to do except enjoy the views. I wouldn't stay for more than one night!

There is no pool and you are in the middle of no where!

Loved everything about this hotel. The room and view were wonderful. The staff were very kind and the meal was sooooo delicious!

The room size was wonderful,. Most of our rooms have been very small during our travels (not unexpected but great nonetheless), but it was just really nice to end the trip in a spacious room with a gorgeous view. The dinner on the terrace was excellent, and the food was fresh! Fantastic experience all around!

It's an amazing feeling to wake up on the edge of a cliff, open your eyes to see the wonderful nature. The service was extremely good, you really don't expect these "highlanders" to have such a good heart and be so hospitable. I really felt welcome.

Everything was perfect! The team, the view, the location! Perfect!!! They have a great restaurant, for the rover and for breakfast! Too bad I didn't close all the nights there.

The best things about Sokoline are the management, food, and staff. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

The view is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Regarding kids- there is a small playground with a trampoline and swings. The restaurant is open 8:30-20:00 and offers a nice selection of home cooked food and very nice staff.

Its location. It is far away from everything. The nearest shops or gas stations are 25 min by car in each direction. But If you are coming only to see the monastery and the quiet, it is perfect.

Outstanding view, spotlessly clean, great service… Breakfast was top-notch. Highly recommend!

We wanted a nice place near Ostrog Monastery to do an early visit there, and Hotel Sokolane delivered perfectly. A little bit more than 10 minutes drive from the nonastery, Sokoline has great views of the surrounding area (including the valley, the hills and the monastery itself). You can enjoy the views either from the restaurant upstairs (where breakfast is also served) or the balcony of your own room which is otherwise spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is also very nice.

Breakfast was great. View from the balcony was incredible. Room is nice and spacious. Price is a bit higher for the value. But I would go back and stay there again, when I visit monastery Ostrog again.

They had no coffee machine in the room, which is usual in 4 star hotels.

The view in the mountains was incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant had delicious food and the free hot breakfast was so filling and we got to try new foods. Loved it and wished we could have stayed another night.

Massive corner room - 2 x huge balconies with and awe-inspiring view of valley and Ostrog Monastery - hotel is perched precipitously on the side of the mountain. There is an amazing restaurant, service and delicious good value food on the roof top terrace with the same panoramic view - whole place has wonderful chilled atmosphere. Extremely relaxing. Wonderful a la carte breakfast (raspberry juice and local fluffy, fried dough balls amazing). Great to relax after Ostrog Monastery visit in extreme heat in August! Definitely the best place to stay of you are visiting it.
