Hotel Air Penedes

Location good from motorway. Breakfast good even though nothing fresh (vegetables).

There was no planket with linen at extra bed.

The location, large car park, lovely evening meal, comfy bed and good shower.

It was noisy from the motorway. The rooms are very dated. Aircon/heating not good

Not much!

This is supposed to be a four star hotel! Very definitely not! We were given a very small double room on the fourth floor of a seemingly almost empty hotel. The window looked over a patch of wasteland. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The room had a poor layout with virtually bare walls with no pictures. The TV was sited to one side of the bed when it could easily have been on the bare wall facing the bed. The furniture was very tacky and the one chair badly worn. The bathroom was very poorly decorated with some peeling paint. Some tiles were cracked and the grouting very dirty. The bath was small, and instead of a separate shower it was a hand held type over the bath. There was a dirty shower curtain instead of a panel, which blew over the edge of the bath when the shower was activated. The basin was cracked and the waste on the bidet was rusty. A kettle and mugs would have been useful. The breakfast was very basic, poor quality and lacking in choice. It was probably the worst hotel of the many we have stayed in!

The evening meal in the restaurant was very good value and good choices available. Staff were friendly. The hotel was very close to the motorway exit so perfect for a one night stopover. Plenty of free parking.

The sofas in the reception area were very old, worn and tired looking. The bathroom in our room was just about on its last legs and when other rooms ran water or flushed their loo it was quite noisy. Dogs not allowed in the restaurant or breakfast room. The breakfast was pretty basic and not a lot left when we came down towards the end of the service.

Great location by motorway, spacious clean room, good stairs for the dog, nice view to hills from window.

Nothing really apart from bedroom walls needed painting from wear and tear.

Overnight stay on our journey to the Costa Blanca. Third time we stayed there now. Excellent Hotel. Nice staff and good food. Comfortable Rooms and spotlessly clean. Also very convenient for A7- right off Junc 30

Nothing really- has everything I need. However if you want to stay more than one night- there is a swimming pool and gardens to enjoy.

Horrible, uncomfortable, not worth the outrageous amount charged per night

The hotel did not have working A/C, they had sewage flooding on the too floor, dirty rooms, bathrooms, yellow shower curtains, hair and dirt underneath the beds.

staff were very good. food was good ( if somewhat overpriced) to be fair this is now the case in most hotels in France, in fact most countries now including England. RANT OVER.

room matching what i asked for , a walk in showera room very close to reception, restaurant, and parking, on ground floor if possible. if not very close to lift. as I am disabled. first room on 3rd floor to far from lift.2nd room just manageable for distance, but no walk in shower, and no working telephone (safety concerns ) no toilet paper.3rd room, closer to lift but could have been closer. still no walk in shower! am then told there are no walk in showers in hotel . not a happy bunny, I will say both the lady in reception and the barmen were very kind and helpful. and a credit to the company .

Room dirty, lots of hair and dust under the bed hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Restaurant disappointing no vegetarian options or gluten free. Staff not very friendly, seemed like everything too much trouble, didn’t like to answer questions or even smile.

A cockroach on the landing on 1st floor. Very dirty windows with a view of a container of rubbish & toilet paper. The window gandles were broken so couldn't open them. The skirting board was coming away from the wall. Mouldy & discoloured ceiling in the bathroom. It was supposed to be 4* but I would say a 2* at best.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room had a very soundproof and you can relax and chill properly.

Shower and shower curtain was very old style.

It is perfectly situated for our journey from Barcelona (arriving by ferry at 19.00) to Bilboa.

Very noisy and no hot water for showering. No tea making facilities and very cheap looking breakfast.

Stopped on way south with last minute booking. Ate in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast both very nice, with evening meal being very reasonably priced for the quality of food. Nice room and dogs welcome. Dog enjoyed going up and down in the glass fronted lift.... very welcoming staff.

Wonderful staff especially the young lady in the restaurant who had to tolerate my lack of Spanish.Excellent food!

Easy to access on our journey south. The staff was exceptionally friendly.
